Paso Robles Inn

Great place to stay in Paso. Walk to old town with lots of cute shops and great restaurants. Also have a restaurant and full bar on the property. Hotel is old and some of the rooms are on the small side but the beds are very comfortable and the grounds are so cute.

Great place ; wonderful stay there. Restaurant there was fantastic! Excellent romantic dinner by the fireplace. Close to city center where there is many shops, restaurants and wineries! Would stay there again,

Loved this place. Quiet and nice inner gardens and pool. Room is terrific and nicely decorated. Great shower, bed. Stay at end unit on upper level. I would always recommend travellers ask for top floor of a motel as it minimizes noise at night. The inn is located right across from town square and tons of restaurants and bars. Very nice area. Would stay again for sure.

We reserved and paid for a Grand Ballroom with Spa - King. The room we were given was a small room without a tub or spa, looking over the parking lot, in what appeared to be an overflow building. When we inquired about the possibility of being moved into the room type that we’d paid for, we were told that there were no longer any rooms of that type! We were told that they couldn’t do anything about it and that because we’d reserved through a third party that they couldn’t refund any portion. It was very disappointing not to receive what we paid for.

Will never go back. They weren’t honest about their renovations and construction. The place was a mess, loud, dirty and completely unenjoyable. They refused to discount properly for their errors. The room was almost $300 because we wanted a jacuzzi tub but the tub was filthy and disgusting. Shame on them!

We booked this hotel at the end of June and when I booked, I got a notice that the hotel was under construction and pool would be closed. So I cancelled and waited for a hot tub room to open. As soon as one did, I booked a King room with a hot tub for 3 night July 14-17. When we checked in, we were told sorry, that our room was not available and was given a gift card to a spa 15 minutes away for a one hour soak. Out of the way, and not what we booked. They adjusted our rate to a lower one after they realized how upset I was and great, I wasn't charged for the room we did not get. We checked into our room, which was nice, however there was no dresser for our clothes so we had to stack everything on the couch for 3 days. Not ok. We tried to call the front desk for towels, and the phone did not work so had to walk to reception to get extra. We tried to call the restaurant to see if they had tea, same, busy signal, did not work. We let Alexis, the Assistant General Manager know we were not happy with our stay. She apologized but did nothing to make things better for us. Poor customer service for sure! Cross posted with Yelp.

We have ben staying at the Paso Robles Inn for 22 years. It is undergoing a major renovation erasing all of the historic qualities. When completed, it will mirror every other hotel in the area without spa tubs. The remodel and tile work in out newly renovated room was done so poorly. The grouting was not completed and tile work uneven. Wallpaper looks like it will start peeling in a month. What were they thinking? The grounds are under major landscaping redo as well. I hope that is salvaged. The inn was the last historic hold out in pr and that too is being erased. It is sad. The restaurant and location are good.

I live in Paso Robles so was with family who were staying there (as they do every year). I understand remodeling but you all at the Inn HAVE to inspect the so called finished rooms. The tile grout in the shower was not completed, the wallpaper is peeling off the walls, no plugs for charging devices, I had to sit on a bed as there were no extra chairs in the room, as a matter of fact if one was to put anything down (like a pamphlet or a bottle of water) it had to be on the 1 small table between two beds. PLEASE make corrections. I love the Inn and I have for many many years recommended it to family and friends. I don't want to see people stay away, the only reason I gave 2 stars is the wonderful meals, that was good along with the service.

While I paid for a deluxe spa room next to garden, I got a plain hotel room on second floor that was missing furniture. No drawers. No coffee table or desk. One small chair in a deluxe room? No terrace as advertised. No spa. No garden access. There was construction which happens but no real effort to provide what I paid for and expected.
