We booked this hotel at the end of June and when I booked, I got a notice that the hotel was under construction and pool would be closed. So I cancelled and waited for a hot tub room to open. As soon as one did, I booked a King room with a hot tub for 3 night July 14-17. When we checked in, we were told sorry, that our room was not available and was given a gift card to a spa 15 minutes away for a one hour soak. Out of the way, and not what we booked. They adjusted our rate to a lower one after they realized how upset I was and great, I wasn't charged for the room we did not get. We checked into our room, which was nice, however there was no dresser for our clothes so we had to stack everything on the couch for 3 days. Not ok. We tried to call the front desk for towels, and the phone did not work so had to walk to reception to get extra. We tried to call the restaurant to see if they had tea, same, busy signal, did not work. We let Alexis, the Assistant General Manager know we were not happy with our stay. She apologized but did nothing to make things better for us. Poor customer service for sure! Cross posted with Yelp.
