Iara CheesecakeWe only had two days in Manila for the grand finale of our honeymoon before heading back to China. The vibe? Total luxury. We crashed at Discovery Primea, right in the heart of Makati. Our room was spacious, super comfy, and the 24/7 room service was basically a honeymoon dream come true 😂.
Just outside the hotel, you're spoiled for choice: a lush park for morning strolls, tons of restaurants, and a massive shopping mall (Glorietta Mall, Ayala Center, Makati—open daily from 10AM to 9PM). We hit up the supermarket inside for a Filipino snacks haul, so our suitcase was loaded with local goodies for the trip home.
Why we liked it:
- Perfect central location—steps from cafes, shops, and all the action
- Rooms are big and super comfy, with ultra-soft beds
- Everything is spotless! Clean and fresh vibes everywhere
- Loads of restaurants around Discovery Primea—just stroll and pick whatever looks tempting

LuluThis is my second stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip.
1. Location: It's located in Makati, which is a relatively safe and bustling area with a pleasant surrounding environment. SM Mall is right across the street, and within about a two-minute walk, you'll find a pizza place, a restaurant with flavors that appeal to Chinese palates, and a Lawson convenience store.
2. Hotel Service: The hotel service is also relatively excellent. They are generally cooperative in addressing any issues, and it's quite convenient to get a taxi from here.
3. Breakfast: The breakfast selection is also quite rich and varied.

The Peninsula Hotel boasts an excellent location, close to Ayala Mall and Ayala Museum! It's definitely worth exploring the area! This neighborhood is very safe, so there's no need to worry. From the moment you enter, the staff greet you with warm smiles, making you feel completely at ease. The coconut trees in the lobby add a lovely tropical touch, and the piano accompaniment in the main hall creates a very elegant atmosphere!

Guest UserI recently had a staycation at this hotel and overall, I had a great experience. The service was excellent from start to finish. All the staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help. The location is also very convenient and easily accessible.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet. There was a wide variety of food, and everything was well prepared.
There were a few areas that could be improved. The room did not have the fresh, clean scent that I normally expect from a hotel. The sink was clogged, there was only one roll of toilet paper provided, and the trash can lid was not working properly. In the bathroom, only shampoo and conditioner were provided. While there was soap available, it seemed intended for handwashing and there was no separate body wash.
Despite these issues, the outstanding service made a big difference. The staff's professionalism and friendliness truly stood out and made the stay enjoyable. I would consider staying here again because of the excellent customer service.

Nacho@_25I stayed in Room 2769, and unfortunately this was one of the worst-maintained units I’ve experienced here. I’ve stayed at this property many times, and it’s always a 50/50 experience, some rooms are well maintained, while others, like this one, are extremely poorly kept.
Several items in the room were broken:
The couch is damaged, exactly as shown in the photos. The hairdryer is broken, it turns on for about five seconds, shuts off, and gets a burning smell, which is a clear safety concern.
• When I contacted customer service, I was told no portable dryer is available, which is surprising for a property of this scale.
It really makes me question whether these condo units are being properly inspected, maintained, or equipped before guests are allowed to stay. Basic functionality and safety checks should be standard, yet this room clearly hasn’t been looked after.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended!
I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever I needed assistance.
The location is one of its biggest advantages. It’s just a short drive from Greenbelt, Glorietta, Ayala Triangle Gardens, and Bonifacio Global City (BGC), making it a great base for shopping, restaurants, cafés, and sightseeing.
The only issue I experienced was with the iron. On my first day, I wasn’t able to get one because I was told they were all in use. I assume the hotel either has only one iron or not enough to meet guest demand. It wasn’t a major problem, but having a few more irons available would definitely improve the guest experience, especially for travelers who need to prepare their clothes before heading out.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would happily come back. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay in Manila.

Nice big sized room
Ordered room service and there was nice Malaysian food menu and the food was awesome
In a neighborhood that has restaurants, cafes everywhere all within walking
I would recommend the management to update or upgrade the reception area because it would make the hotel look better
The reception lobby is First Impression, however currently it doesn't correspond to the quality of the room.

And of your planing to go a market which is Pasay Market eady ride just take a jeepney. And of your going to the airport very accessible for you to tale the Skyway. Will definitely stay here again. Room is very same as photo, complete kitchen utensils and everything was brandnew, I dont like high floor so this 7th floor room is perfect to me. Amenities was good, The free sauna is what i like here since i dont swim. But the highlight was the location, I was very close to rockwell and filling station in poblacion. There was a very good biryani restau downstairs just a few walking distance only. Thank you, will definitely be back again and would stay longer.
