"The experience at this hotel was truly unforgettable! As soon as I entered the spacious, bright and elegantly decorated lobby, I immediately felt a warm atmosphere. The cleanliness and comfort of the room exceeded my expectations. The bed was so soft that once I lay down, I didn't want to get up. All facilities are available to make you feel at home. The hotel's location is even more advantageous, with transportation extending in all directions and a wide range of dining and entertainment facilities nearby, providing great convenience for travel. The most impressive thing is that the hotel staff are all enthusiastic and provide considerate service, making people feel like they are back home. Special praise to front desk manager Xiao Zhang for his attentive check-in service and considerate arrangements. I look forward to having such a wonderful stay again."

It is a 14-minute drive from the Menghualu tourist attraction, a 12-minute drive from Jianzhan Street Commercial Centre, and a 3-5-minute drive from the expressway intersection. "Returning to Zhejiang from Fujian, I chose to rest here for a while, but I didn't expect a surprise. The hotel is on the edge of the city, very quiet and has a good environment. Although it is small but exquisite, the facilities are quite new, and it can indeed be called a boutique hotel. The parent-child room is large and has a balcony, which is relatively breathable. Milk and bread were also delivered in the evening. Parking is convenient, there is an underground garage, and the signs are very clear, so it is not difficult to find at all. It's very close to Wanda and convenient for eating. The bedding is also soft and comfortable. The bathroom shower is huge. All in all, very satisfied and recommended."

"Breakfast was good. The location is in the north of Jianyang District, about a 10-minute drive from the bustling business district. The hotel is adjacent to Jianxi River. There are trails and green belts along the river suitable for walking. What I'm not very satisfied with is that the hotel's swimming pool and gym were contracted out. The swimming pool only opened at 12 noon, and I couldn't swim before checking out in the morning."

"The Accord in my impression is not that bad. I don't know if it's because of the time or because they can't recruit a good receptionist (isn't the front of the hotel the lobby) who is unwilling and weird.
After checking in, I found the scenes in Figure 1 and Figure 2. I don't know what to say. Is there no room inspection in such a big hotel? Or is the manager incompetent and not good at management.

Public areas are not clean enough, such as elevator stair windows, etc. It's quite a big hotel, but it only uses a washing machine and a dryer to wash sheets and quilts. It's no different from a B&B, which is surprising."

小而精緻，有設計感，有個性，有温度，也有讓人記住它的細節。這樣的酒店往往不依靠規模取勝，而是依靠體驗和風格讓客人留下印象。

GGuest UserWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

I received a free room upgrade, which included a bathtub and a wet/dry separation in the bathroom.
The guesthouse lobby has two adorable cats, a British Shorthair named 'Jinbao' and a Golden British Shorthair named 'Zhaocai'. Zhaocai is quite a rebel and will playfully swat at anyone, but Jinbao is super friendly and lets you pet her as long as you have cat treats.
The overall accommodation environment was fantastic. What was even better was their restaurant. We stayed for two nights and had all three of our main meals at the guesthouse. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly suited our taste buds.
In contrast, many restaurants within the Wuyishan scenic area can be hit or miss – I won't name names, but there are just too many 'influencer' spots.
Right across the road from the guesthouse is 'Impression Dahongpao', which was a great show to catch in the evening. A short walk further is the Tea Culture Park, and if you follow the path deep into the park, you'll find a famous walking trail. Every weekend evening, there's a band that performs there for free.
On the morning we went to the Wuyishan National Park, we even borrowed a traditional bamboo hat from the guesthouse, which was a fun experience.
The only slight downside was breakfast; it wasn't quite to my liking as it was a bit greasy and salty. So, on the second morning, we went out for Zixi noodles instead.
The soundproofing in the room could be better; I could hear conversations in the hallway in the morning, but it wasn't a major issue.
I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel is quite large, so we had to take a shuttle whenever we went out, but the staff provided excellent service – the shuttle arrived promptly every time we called. The hotel's breakfast buffet is definitely worth mentioning; although the variety wasn't extensive, the food was delicious!

I booked this B&B with a positive impression. I'm also very satisfied with the tea room on the sixth floor, which is open to guests staying at the hotel.

I study Asian art for a living, and I travelled to Jianyang to visit the home of Jian ware, classic tea bowls of the Song dynasty (960 to 1279 CE), distinguished by their black and brown glazes. Over the last few decades, firing Jian ware in the Song tradition has been revived in the area. I chose Nanping Colourful Village Homestay because it was in Jianyang, affordable, and accepted international guests. What I found was a luxury resort with all the warmth and personal attention of a homestay.
I asked the front desk about an excavated Song kiln site in a nearby village, and the receptionist brought me the manager, who arranged for someone to take me the next day. My driver was Ms. Huang, an employee of the resort whose job involves buying and selling contemporary pieces. She knew everything about Jian ware! The kiln site isn’t run as a tourist site, so I was only able to view it because Ms. Huang arranged for it to be opened for me.
I had told them I was vegetarian, so for lunch they took me to lunch at a vegetarian buffet. Then we visited the town’s Jian ware museum, where they have exhibits on the history of tea and Jian ware, historical pieces, and the work of contemporary Jianyang potters.
To my delight, Mr. Gao, the potter-in-residence at the resort, uses a Song-style wood-fired dragon kiln, built right on the grounds! His pieces that range from beautiful but quite affordable to exquisite and appropriately expensive. They include both iridescent silvery oil spot and orange-to-black hare’s fur pieces. I am still thrilled that I was able to purchase wood-fired pieces on my limited budget.
For dinner, the resort’s restaurant prepared vegetarian versions of Fujian cuisine for me. The food was all delicious, featuring classic Fujianese mountain ingredients like local bamboo and mushrooms.
Then we visited Mr. Gao’s dragon kiln, and later his studio, where he experiments with different local clays and glaze recipes. The rich colours and iridescence of Jian ware are the result of the iron-rich local material fired at high temperature, and the results are as unpredictable as they are beautiful.
The next day, they drove me to Mr. Chen’s family tea plantation in the mountains, where they grow famous northern Fujian teas. These fine teas were all wonderful, smooth and rich with a touch of smoke, and sometimes fruity in flavour. We strolled through mountainsides of tea bushes and visited groves of centuries-old tea trees.
This is a perfect place for an immersive experience in China that is also very comfortable and convenient. I often find tourist experiences in China claustrophobic due to the press of people, but the resort was spacious and airy, and they took me to places where there was no one else but us and the occasional local going about their business. Everyone was very patient with my limited Chinese language skills. They were also happy to work with translator apps on our phones, so if you don’t speak any Chinese, you will be fine.
This would be a great place to come as a family. There are gardens and rides for kids right next to the resort. You can learn how to whip Song-style tea and carve your name into the base of your own Jian ware cup. Not far away is a historical theme park with a collection of real architecture from the Ming (1368 to 1644 CE) and Qing (1636 to 1912 CE) dynasties. The employees wear period dress and there are performances and activities. Nearby there are hiking trails, historical sites, and lovely villages to visit.
It’s also very close to Wuyi Mountain National Park, so it would be a perfect place to stay if the mountains are your destination. If you ask, they could arrange for you to visit famous sites or take you to breathtaking places that only locals know, whatever you want. They can also arrange transport to and from the train station or airport.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent, convenient location right in the heart of the Sangu Scenic Area in Wuyishan City, making it super easy to grab a bite or do some shopping. As for the environment, the hotel has many rooms spread across A and B buildings. The cleanliness is top-notch; the rooms are very clean and comfortable. A major plus is the air conditioning – it's completely silent and even has a sleep mode, which is fantastic! This is definitely a great choice for a resort-style hotel.

There's even a small waterfall in the courtyard, and a rooftop viewing platform offering a panoramic view of the main peak. The tea here is also very fragrant, and you can borrow teaware at any time. AAnonymous UserBased on my recent two-night stay, the Metropolo Hotel Wuyishan Sangu Holiday Resort is an excellent choice for exploring the area. The location is truly great, with easy access via the public bus right outside. Our room was impressively spacious and very clean. A special mention must go to their staffs, who were super nice and incredibly attentive to all my requests. The breakfast offered a great variety and quality to start each day. I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Wuyishan.
