"I have to give this hotel a huge shout-out! From check-in to check-out, the service was incredibly thoughtful, and the staff were always ready to help. The biggest surprise was being able to do laundry, which is super practical for anyone on a longer road trip – it solved a major headache. Parking was also incredibly convenient; no need to hunt for a spot, you just park right downstairs, which is hassle-free and secure. The environment is really comfortable, clean, and tidy; the hygiene is impeccable, and the bedding feels fresh, making for a very pleasant stay. The owner is also incredibly warm and friendly, chatting with us like a friend and even proactively recommending great local spots. The whole experience was top-notch! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit, and I highly recommend it to everyone~"

"This is the first time in decades I've left a negative review on Ctrip, and this stay was an absolute nightmare, no exaggeration. I chose what's supposed to be the best hotel in Mohe, but I didn't get a wink of sleep. The hotel has large fans running at night, and lying in bed, my ear on the pillow, created a resonant effect with the noise (I wonder if anyone can understand or relate to that). I called the front desk to ask for a room change, but was told there were no other rooms of that type available. I said, 'If there's an issue with this room, it shouldn't be assigned!' Ultimately, no solution was found!!! The next morning, I had a splitting headache and tearfully complained to the front desk. They apologized and offered a late checkout until 2 PM, but my Ctrip benefits already allowed for a 2 PM checkout anyway!! I asked to speak to the front desk manager or lobby manager and was told the leaders weren't in... Again, no resolution! I had planned to stay three nights in Mohe, but ended up buying a flight to Harbin for that very day. My final checkout time was 3:30 PM. I was truly, truly, truly, truly, truly distraught! It's been two days since I arrived in Harbin and my head still hurts. Extremely disappointed! I hope the Ctrip platform can advocate for a loyal customer of decades.

If warmth could melt Mohe’s cold, this household would be climate change.
My downstairs room? Small. A little dim. Chosen for my sister’s convenience rather than my royal canine standards. But here’s the thing — when hospitality is this generous, the light comes from the people. I ate every meal at their café not out of laziness, but loyalty. Why brave the Arctic for repetitive food when home-style comfort is already waiting with a bowl and a smile?
Youran lives up to its name: unforced, gentle, human. It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting relatives who keep refilling your bowl because you look “too thin.” This became the perfect launchpad for my Harbin expedition, three nights of settling in, warming up, and learning that charm travels better than luxury.
Now, the honest bone (every good dog buries one): I’d give this a 4.1 stars if decimals existed. Since they don’t, here’s a conditional 5-star — contingent on tighter cleanliness under beds, chairs, and in the toilet. I raised this directly with the boss because I’d happily recommend this boutique stay to my pack… once the floors behave.
All in, Mohe Youran Mountain Residence didn’t just host me — they claimed me. And this dog? I don’t forget who treats me like family.

"Juguang Hotel was absolutely fantastic! It was incredibly clean, spotless even. The location is excellent, right in the city center, making it convenient to get everywhere. The owners and their family were so warm and hospitable, and the service was thoughtful, with timely and efficient pick-up/drop-off service. "This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my ten-day trip to Northeast China! Mohe was my last night on the trip, and I had been quite disappointed by previous hotels, so staying here really cheered me up. The owner was super nice, even helped with my luggage, and clearly pays great attention to details and creating a good atmosphere. The room had an instant hot water dispenser with adjustable temperature, a humidifier, and a truly beautiful view. Besides regular towels, disposable ones were also provided. Mohe was right outside the window. The price was also much better than other guesthouses I'd seen, even those with potentially nicer decor. And the toiletries were L'Occitane – that was a pleasant surprise I definitely didn't expect! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Mohe in winter."

"The guesthouse has a great location, a well-designed room layout, and brand-new decor. It features electric curtains, floor-to-ceiling windows, a wardrobe, and enough space to easily accommodate two 30-inch suitcases.
The rooms are clean and hygienic, the bedding is comfortable, and the selection of two types of pillows shows thoughtfulness. Our group of four booked two twin rooms, and everyone agreed the mattresses were very comfortable, the sheets and duvet covers were soft and skin-friendly, and we fell asleep instantly every night.
A large part of the reason we chose this guesthouse was because of the reviews mentioning the owner's attentiveness and willingness to take guests out. During our stay, the owner picked us up and dropped us off for meals every day, took us to various photo spots in Beiji Village, and patiently waited for us. When we caught a cold, the owner took us to buy medicine. Walking short distances in the freezing temperatures of -20 to -30 degrees Celsius was much more strenuous than usual, making a reliable guesthouse owner in Mohe during winter incredibly important.
On our first night, the owner even treated us to Northeastern-style barbecue! We wondered how the owner made that money! 😂 The owner picked us up from the Beiji Village bus station upon arrival and with our luggage, and even bought our train tickets in advance and took us to the station upon departure – so convenient!
Thank you for taking care of me during my stay. I will stay at this hotel again when I go to Mohe."

"I only saw the aurora because I booked this hotel! When I looked up from the bridge leading to the hotel, everything around me was a bit bright. At first, I thought it was light pollution, but then I noticed several taxi drivers getting out to film it. It wasn't until many locals came over to look and take pictures that we realized it was the aurora. If I had stayed at a different hotel, I probably wouldn't have seen it.
The room was large, and the bathroom was nice. The wooden decorations looked a bit old-fashioned in photos, but they weren't at all. There was also a cat and a dog. The owner didn't actively solicit good reviews; this is entirely a subjective assessment."

The pot we ate at noon was not finished. Auntie also heated us for the next day. I also drank the corn paste cooked by my aunt. It felt so homey. The heating was super enough. From the northernmost post office. North Star Square is a ten-minute walk away. You can also play in the yard and splash water into ice. In short, it is a good experience. Mohe will miss you~

You can leisurely stroll through Pingyao Ancient City; the old streets and houses are incredibly charming and photogenic. There's no rush at all, making this tour perfect for families with elderly members and children. The only downside is that you'll need to rent an audio guide near the scenic area if you want a commentary, but overall, it's quite cost-effective. Highly recommended! (*^∀^)

There are 2 cute dogs (one of the dog's name is Andy) which are also super friendly. I really enjoy my time there. I can also throw hot water in the morning for free nearby this house. The location is great as I can walk to the Village centre within 10 minutes. The room is warm and cosy. This is my first time in Mohe Arctic village. I enjoy staying here and would like to revisit later if I have a chance.

GGuest UserThe owner was very kind; he picked us up from the bus station and drove us to buy tickets when we left. The room was really clean, and knowing we were sensitive to the cold, he arranged the warmest room for us. It had underfloor heating, and the toilet was heated and fully automatic. We heard there was an aurora borealis, and the owner said he would definitely let us know if it happened and would take us there, so we wouldn't have to wait there freezing. He was very considerate throughout the trip, even telling us where to go and recommending restaurants. Most importantly, they offer free water-to-ice water-splashing service, and you can do it for as long as you want, right in the hotel's backyard.

Mmw_mmmmI absolutely love this guesthouse! It's clean, comfortable, and they thoughtfully provide disposable toiletries for guests. The decor makes it feel like you're staying in a cabin abroad. MM343749****I rarely write reviews, but this stay was surprisingly good. The guesthouse owners are a husband and wife. On our first night, we found the air dry, so we contacted the owner's wife, who brought us a basin of water in the middle of the night. The next day, they even arranged a ride for us to Beihong Village, and the driver was very helpful. On our last day, they took us to the riverbank for a free water-splashing activity, and then, learning we hadn't visited many attractions in Beiji Village, they immediately drove us around for free before we left.
We booked a family room, a small wooden cabin, which was very comfortable, quiet, and clean.

Spread over two floors, it has three separate bedrooms, including one with a tea room—it's truly a delightful experience. Beyond the amenities, the host is incredibly kind! The young man was incredibly welcoming and immediately available to help with any questions we had. He even offered free transportation—so warm and friendly! He even took us on a tour, letting us learn about the local customs and culture. Our trip to the Arctic Village was truly worthwhile because of our stay here! AAnonymous UserThe hardware facilities should be the best hotel in Mohe. There is also free airport pick-up and drop-off service. There is a river in front and a forest in the back. The scenery is very good. It is very convenient to take a taxi. It costs 5 yuan to go anywhere. The price is the same for locals and foreigners. It is very practical. The service awareness needs to be improved. There is no flexibility or accommodation. Check out at 1 o'clock. Even if the plane leaves two hours later, they will not allow late check-out. Late check-out costs extra money. You need to pay extra for mineral water. When you ask for cleaning for the extension room, they only change the bath towels. When asked why the bed is not made and the floor is not mopped, they just make it and mop it casually. I have to refute a few words, not to mention wiping the table top, repairing slippers and pulling paper. Overall, for the above advantages, I will stay in this hotel when I go to Mohe in the future because the hardware conditions are good.

GGuest UserThe hotel helped us arrange a driver for our entire trip, making it easy for us to travel around Mohe at a cheaper cost. The driver are very helpful and helped us to book the attraction entrance tickets for us and we can pay him later at the end of our trip as the cost covered is mainly for him to bring us to attractions for our entire trip and it does not include attraction entrance tickets. Prepare some cash for easy payment back to the driver as for our country, we are being charged for extra 2% fees if we are using Alipay app payments above RMB200. So by paying them in cash for anything above RMB200, we can avoid paying the 2% fees. Also there are times when we make some payment while purchasing food, and we are having difficulties on the apps link which is another reason why cash is needed for the contingency period.
