The bedding was so soft and comfortable, and the mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a solid night's sleep with absolutely no noise – the soundproofing is genuinely excellent. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, the hot water came quickly and stayed at a consistent temperature, and the toiletries were complete. The breakfast had a good variety, including congee, steamed buns, rice noodles, and noodle soup, all buffet style, and tasted just like home cooking – very filling. The hotel's location is also convenient for transportation, and if you come by car, there's free parking, which is a huge relief. The bathroom drainage was poor, causing water to pool around the toilet area. Breakfast was terrible: the dishes were carelessly prepared, variety was scarce, and even the hard-boiled eggs weren't fresh. Many guests were also using their bare hands to pick up food, which was unhygienic. Furthermore, the swimming pool's safety barriers were poorly designed."

KKhor Wei WengIt’s just a 5-minute walk from the high-speed railway station, which is very convenient, though there aren’t many food options or shops nearby. Cleanliness deserves full marks as the apartment is newly renovated and feels fresh and well maintained. Staff were responsive, polite, and quick to help when needed. There was some loud renovation noise from other apartments during the day, and some facilities were not fixed properly at first, but it was rectified quickly. Overall, a clean, comfortable stay with excellent service and an unbeatable location near the station.

I was originally driving north from Hainan and was going to Zhanjiang after passing Xuwen Port, but after going there a few times I felt it was just average, so I changed my route to Huazhou and stopped there. I didn’t expect this small city to be so cozy, with so many delicious foods and cheap prices. The hotel is new and the facilities and equipment are intelligent. The front desk clerk was very nice. The upgrade to a river view room was awesome. The environment is nice for a walk along the river after dinner, without the hustle and bustle of a big city. I really recommend stopping here. Much better than staying in Zhanjiang.

Every time I stayed at Ji Hotel, I always impressed by its room design, room layout, cleanliness, service and location.
I do have one suggestion for improvement, I thought if the room has a small green plant for decoration, it will give more artistic & beauty for the room.
I read the book by the founder 季琦、the rationale of not having a plant is to avoid the maintenance.
The hotel can consider a simple & strong plant like 绿萝….、 this indoor plant just needs water in a small vase and no need a lot sunlight and will survive. It is low cost & low maintenance. Just a suggestion.

MM39712****Overall, it was okay. The hot springs seem authentic. However, I have a few points for future guests to consider: 1. There were some hygiene oversights. One pillow was noticeably dirty, either not changed or not properly cleaned, and one bathrobe was stained. 2. At 1 AM, someone was barbecuing on a downstairs balcony. The smoke and smell were so strong they woke me up. If guests are allowed to barbecue inside the hotel, the fire risk is a serious concern. 3. The hotel's promotional activities are a bit of a joke. A 100 RMB voucher for the Chinese restaurant requires a minimum spend of over 200 RMB to use. The discounted dishes are only worth their discounted price anyway. I'm not sure if this promotion is meant to trick guests or just for the hotel's own amusement.
