"Hotel Euter Basel is incredibly convenient, located just a one-minute walk from Basel SBB train, bus, and tram stations. Its distinctive light blue exterior makes it easy to spot. The rooms are very spacious and fully equipped, featuring a mini-fridge, coffee machine, and two complimentary glass bottles of water. The hotel also provides guests with a free public transport card and museum discount vouchers, which are fantastic for sightseeing and saving money. The breakfast is outstanding and very generous. The staff are all extremely polite. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Basel!"

Book your room at the new ibis budget Basel City at an affordable price. The modern, bright rooms have AC, free WIFI, flat screen TV and the comfortable Sweet Bed by ibis budget beds. Thanks to its central location, few min. away from the SBB train station, many attractions, St. Jakob Park and Messe Basel can be reached on foot or by public transport. Look forward to a great stay at a fantastic price.
"Good location, near a tram stop and SBB, and walking distance to the city centre. City tax entitles you to free transport with the BaselCard (though only after you check in, I think, so if coming from Basel Bad you need to make your own way there). Helpful reception staff, quick check-in. Price was quite good for a short-notice booking, around 70€ equivalent on a Friday. Room (triple) was a reasonable size. The ensuite facilities in the room are rather poorly installed as an afterthought: the toilet is not properly separated from the rest of the room and the shower pod door is not flush, so water would leak all over the floor. Fine for a night or two, probably would stay here again if needed but hope they can improve the mod cons."

The hotel's decor felt very refined and elegant throughout. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and very plentiful! All the staff were also very friendly and helpful."

"Our first visit to the lovely city of Basel and the hotel is well situated on Clarastrasse, which was just a short 10-minute tram ride from the Basel SBB main train station.
It is well connected to many parts of the city with the tram stop just a minute from the entrance.
There is a Coop supermarket and a nice Klara food court with a great atmosphere for meals on the same stretch.
The room was clean, bright and spacious for our family of 2 adults and a 8yo. We slept very well as there was no noise our room faced a residential courtyard.
Lastly, kudos to the warm reception we experienced at check-in and check-out.
Thank you for an overall lovely 2 nights at the Pullman. We will choose to stay here on our next trip to wonderful Basel."

"We were usung public transport and this hotel was perfect. It is only a 2 minute walk from the Central Station. Plus there was a tram 1/2 block from the hotel that took you downtown. We were given a “Basel Card” which gave us free transport, even to the airport.
In addition, what was called a continental breakfast was much more. Scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, various breads and an excellent coffee machine were all included."

We had an excellent stay at Gaia Hotel Basel. The hotel's commitment to sustainability was impressive and evident in every detail. Our room was comfortable, well-equipped, and beautifully designed, with thoughtful eco-friendly touches.
We loved the delicious breakfast with organic and locally sourced options, and the convenient location near the train station made exploring Basel easy. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help.
Gaia Hotel Basel perfectly combines comfort, sustainability, and great service. We highly recommend it and would happily stay again on our next visit to Basel!

CCNXGBasel was our final stop in Switzerland this year, a border city spanning only 24 square kilometers. Despite its border location, it's very developed and modern.
**Environment:**
Among hotels like Victoria, Mövenpick, Radisson, and Novotel, we chose this 3-star option. It's directly opposite the SBB train station, and the main bus terminal is just 100 meters from the lobby exit. Although it's a transport hub, the area is decent; there are a few homeless people around, but its convenience makes up for it.
**Facilities:**
There's no fitness center, but you can pay to use a partner facility. The lobby bar is alright, not too crowded, with a nice corner view of the street. Coffee runs between 6-7 Swiss francs. The room isn't huge, but it's fully functional, and the bathroom is quite spacious, which is great for travelers.
**Cleanliness:**
The common areas, like the lobby and hallways, are well-maintained, and the room was very tidy. You can definitely trust the cleanliness standards of Swiss hotels.
**Service:**
Check-in and check-out were both quick. Our room was ready well in advance, and luggage storage was straightforward. They provide a Basel Card, which offers free use of all city public transport and half-price entry to some museums. I didn't particularly notice any other services.

GGuest UserThe hotel itself looks nice and the location is just outside the main touristic areas. Parking area is inconvenient and difficult to figure out. It took awhile for the Staff to explain clearly. The room itself was a bit small. And the airconditioning/ventilation wasn’t working well.

AAnna801Basel is very small, just a 15-minute walk from the city center. This hotel is located on the edge of the city center, making it especially convenient for walking and public transportation. There is a beautiful lady at the front desk, gentle and polite. The room size is probably okay in Europe. Although the facilities are not new, they are very clean. There are capsule coffee in the room and the toiletries are provided by L'Occitane. The hotel is across the road from the Rhine, and there is a street behind the hotel similar to the bustling weekend market.

FFoddyTravelsGreat hotel and position! The only downside was the bathroom did emit a smell. It wasn't overpowering, just not pleasant. It's okay when the bathroom door is shut but still there when you open it. It didn't bother me a lot but it may be something others find uncomfortable. Otherwise, a great hotel with friendly staff and very comfortable.
