So disappointed, the rooms are so dated, no glasses, no plates, no bowls, no cutlery in rooms. Once reception is closed you can’t get these items. Uncomfortable beds with torn curtains, noisy box air conditioning. A positive note the pool very clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast to room on time. For the price look for another motel.

The room was of an older style but completely functional. It was spotlessly clean. Excellent. The bed was comfortable and despite proximity to the road, no intrusive traffic noise. The room service meals, two roast lamb shanks were excellent. We will return.

Dated. Room and bed had a funky smell. Bed was comfortable enough. Cheap accommodation. Suitable as an emergency stop over, not really for a holiday. Maybe okay for a family on a budget. Good parking outside the room. Motel was full so maybe other rooms are nicer. It smelt of too much room freshener.

Reception was very helpful when we requested small plates, knife and toaster as we were there 4 days and wanted toast for breakfast. Only odd thing is that they supply cups and lots of tea & coffee but no spoons. Our room was clean and bed was comfy. We had 2 huskies with us and the outside area was so good for them. They enjoyed lying in the sun in the mornings. The Motor Inn is in a convenient area, close to shops, but even though it was on the main road, it was very quiet. Meals were nice but a little pricey. Nice Tavern just up the road but also a bit pricey. We will be back to stay here again.

Stayed at the True Blue Motor Inn in Rockhampton, very pleasant stay & it catered well for our 2 dogs, all the needs for our dogs were meet, throughly recommend this motel for people staying with pets. Even though we only stayed 1 night, it was cosy, comfortable & clean.

As soon as we opened the door to our room, there was a horrid dirty smell. Upon quick inspection the room was in very poor condition and very very unhygienic. I have included photos to show the state of the room. The lid fell off the kettle as I was pouring boiling water to wash a mug. No teaspoon in the room. Reused chux. Marks on the walls, grotty chair, could feel the springs in the mattress, marks on blankets, crumbs and bugs in fridge and seal and around bath edge. Mould in fridge and on bins. Curtains were filthy. The two stars I am giving - one for clean beds and one for air-conditioning. Just don’t book here. Please do not do that to yourself.

We found the room spacious and comfortable, pillows were adequate. The kitchen sink was convenient to have, better than using bathroom to clean dishes. Traffic noise was minimal. Reception staff was most helpful and accommodating. We would stay there again.
