Hotels Near Towers of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris

Very much enjoyed my 3 nights stay at the Hôtel les Degrés de Notre Dame. A unique 16C hotel that’s located IMHO in the most interesting & vibrant part of Paris. My room was on the 4th floor and was lucky to have a view of Notre Dame out my window. The room looked as if it had been fairly recently renovated. The bed and especially the pillows were very comfortable. The compromise of this 16C unique hotel is there’s no Lift, so be prepared to get that suitcase(s) up the staircase. But once done it’s done! When I mentioned I only drink tea, the manager kindly knocked on my door and even offered me a mini kettle. I found the staff on duty went out of their way to make sure all was well. For me I did not wish to have housekeeping every day, but if you wish -- just ask. Location: Steps away from both the Seine & Notre Dame as well as many bars & restaurants. Walking to the Musée du Louvre along the Seine/over Pont Neuf bridge ~slow 25 mins walk with much to see along the way. Transport: Saint-Michel RER B Line station takes you direct from/to Charles de Gaulle & the Saint-Michel RER C Line station takes you direct to/from Versailles. All in all the Hotel was a Great little find!

Albergo senza pretese in zona Bastiglia, vicino alla metro. Ascensore minuscolo, stanze piccole ma pulite, saponi non forniti. Le camere sul retro sono tranquille, purtroppo le camere sul fronte strada sono rumorose a causa di schiamazzi notturni ( ci sono locali ) ed è difficile riposare. Gli infissi non trattengono i rumori, basterebbe sostituirli per modificare notevolmente il comfort. A pochi metri un forno/pasticceria fantastico, dove è possibile fare colazione e oppure uno spuntino, anche salato. Ci tornerei se fossi sicuro di soggiornare in una camera sul retro del palazzo.

We stayed at GW for two nights. Montparnasse station and Danfer Rochelow station are about 13 minutes walk. Since the airport bus departing and arriving at Montparnasse station is gone, it is very convenient to be able to go to the airport without changing by RER from Danfer Rochelow station. The subway is about 8 minutes from Gete Station. Since it is a hotel on a big street, the surroundings are bright and you are not afraid to walk at night. Moreover, it is quiet at night. It is convenient because the monoprix grocery store near Montparnasse station is open until 23:40. One of the male staff at the front desk was surprised that he was good at Japanese. In addition, he was very kind. Breakfast is served with baguettes and petit size croissants, pan o chocolate, pan orezan in a basket. The baguette was delicious. Drinks can be served in a pot with coffee, tea or chocolate. Orange juice is also available. Then there are a few kinds of shelves of Financier, yogurt, jam and cheese. I thought I would go out to eat if breakfast was too much, but it was enough. Due to the depreciation of the yen, the hotel in Paris for the first time in 4 years was very expensive, and I was worried about where to stay, but I chose this place and it was the correct answer. There is a classic elevator and the rooms are large enough. There is no refrigerator in the room, but it was a very good hotel considering the price.

Kleines Touristenhotel mit rund 25 Zimmern. Das Hotel liegt in 2 Min. Fussweg zur U-Bahnstation Pernety, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Zimmer im Hotel sind jedoch sehr klein. In unserem Zimmer hatte es kaum eine Ablagefläche, geschweige denn einen richtigen Schrank. Rund um das Bett 30 - 80 cm, das wars… Die Dusche war ok; für die Duschkabine darf man aber keine Platzangst haben. Eine enge Treppe führt in die Obergeschosse; der Lift ist ebenfalls klein. Der grösste Mangel im Hotel ist aber der Frühstücksraum. Für eine solche Anzahl Hotelzimmer nur 22 Sitzplätze -＞ das genügt einfach nicht. Es kann nicht sein, dass man morgens um 8.30 Uhr zum Frühstück will und dann fast eine Stunde in der Hotel-Lobby warten muss. Das Frühstück selber ist relativ spartanisch. Das Hotelpersonal dürfte auch freundlicher und kompetenter sein, angefangen bei Receptionspersonal bis hin zur Bedienung im Frühstücksraum. Alles in allem kann man dort bei einem Städtetrip übernachten - bedingungslos empfehlenswert, na ja….

Absolutely perfect- beyond perfect! I cried when we left. We’ve been to Paris a few times and stayed in the area, and love it, but this was our first time with kids. We had ‘The Room’ that is used on the photos and it really really is like that. That view! The place had a great vibe, with staff and other guests being warm and welcoming. We loved the shared fridge and kitchen- perfect for our kids who will only eat cereal for breakfast! The location is perfect. Right next to a lovely play area for kids, Anvers metro station is outside and the Sunday street market that filled then boulevard was great! The room was lovely- very nicely decorated and the kids loved the bunbeds. Loved sitting on our little balcony and enjoying that view. I can’t even write how perfect our stay was. I’ve never seen Paris look so beautiful and we can’t wait to return.

My husband and I stayed in a Superior Double Room for two days at the beginning of March. We had a wonderful view of the park and the Eiffel Tower. The room is beautiful to look at, but a little damaged in some parts (for example the shower). The biggest problem of the room was the ventilation system, as it smelled of the drain several times. The cleaner does her job, as she cleans the room daily, but the problem is exclusively ventilation. I might also point out that you can hear the chairs being moved in the bar in the room. I would also suggest that a different choice of breakfast be made every day, as it was the same breakfast twice. However, I would like to conclude by praising the staff, who were friendly at all times.

The hotel is in a really nice position very close to the metro station of Jaurès that can get you basically everywhere. The place was clean and there is the chance to leave there your luggage if you come to early for check in or if you need to leave it after check out. That earns the 2 stars in my review. Unfortunately this was probably my worst experience in a hotel. Checking in I was told that we got an upgrade and, instead of our view on the city we got what is supposedly a better room facing an internal wall. I must say that I am not sure if that was really an upgrade because it didn't feel like it - and this makes me wonder what would have been a regular room. Rooms are poorly insulated and I could hear perfectly what was going on in the rooms next to our. The cleaning was good, but unfortunately the cleaning lady forgot to close our door and, when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon, we found the door open. The only answer we got when we reported the issue was ”oh, that's not good” - indeed it isn't. Growing up in a similar business I have been taught to do what it take to make happy your guests and I found odd that I couldn't get a couple of spoons when I asked for them (”breakfast is closed now so we don't have spoons”). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The price doesn't match the service.

I am extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel during my 4 day visit to Paris. the friendly service, the cleanliness, the delicious food, the pleasant atmosphere (nice music, calmness and politeness from Sasha, Patrick, Isabelle and the women who take care of the cleanliness and the delicious breakfast). very convenient location, as well as proximity to a metro station. I was debating between a 4 or 5 star review but had to go with 4. The hotel itself is located a short 3 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro station. The property is very nice and the staff was excellent, English was really spoken as were many other languages. The breakfast was excellent, I'd recommend the package with breakfast included. Two reasons for the one star reduction. First, the hotel has 2 elevators. One was foam when we checked in and had been for some time. Having one elevator in a hotel with 118 rooms becomes problematic at busy times and we waited for 5 elevators more than once. It looks like either the elevator was damaged by water or mechanical or a renovation was planned, but.. I think it was the former as a renovation is done and workers are present and the situation scheduled. This was just a sign and apologies. The second issue was one evening we came back to the hotel from a day out all day to find our bathroom had 1 towel, not a full size but a bath mat sized towel. We were informed their towel service didn't return the towels that day. We baked and a second small towel showed up but, that was not well planned out. The GM did apologize profusely, but it seemed like poor inventory control to hand zero stock on hand. Otherwise, great location, fantastic staff, rooms are decent sized and well appointed. Ask the staff for recommendations on restaurants and cafes, they are all knowledge
