Hotel Locomo - Gare de Lyon Bastille

I have traveled to over 70+ countries stayed in 100+ Hotels and Hotel Locomo is one of the best. The moment you enter, there is a homely feeling , welcomed by caring and helpful staff who all speak English. The ROOM though small are new, clean, beautiful and comfortable. Top marks for towel and linen. The Big BREAKFAST to order has a good variety and only 11 Euros, value for money. The hotel provides free Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Lemon water, Cake and fruits throughout the day in the Lobby and all for free. The LOCATION is opposite to Gare De Lyon station and a 5 min walk to the Station and metro. There are plenty of restaurants, bakeries, bars and supermarkets nearby, it's a safe neighbourhood. The PRICE of the rooms is really Value for Money. Above all, what makes the hotel EXTRAORDINARY is their STAFF , Manager Julien and his team who demonstrate TOP CLASS HOSPITALITY and are ready to help you with anything. Special mention to Asif, Audrey and Josephine at the reception who genuinely care and assist every guest with their needs. I can't wait to stay again in Locomo and if you are finding it hard to chose a hotel in Paris, look no further, book this hotel and you will be happier making the decision.

Facilities: Average Hygiene: Not bad Environment: Not bad Service: This is the key point! First of all, the reception at the front desk is super five-star. When checking out, they actively asked if they needed a taxi. The speed was very fast. The lost items were in the car. The driver drove around the airport and waited there. Ten thousand likes
Hotel Villa Romantic & Spa

This is my second stay at the Hotel Villa Romantica. Both times my partner and I have had very comfortable beds in quiet, clean room, with a nice shower. We love the location as well. The staff has been nothing but courteous, helpful, and upbeat. There are a few minor downsides: The rooms are slightly over perfumed, and the wifi logs you out after non-use every so often as if it's 2012. Finally, while I love the spa facilities, there is no enforcement of behavior so the last time we where down there, people were watching loud videos in the sauna and taking up a lot of the small pool taking selfies and doing video chats, so what should be a restorative and relaxing area is often less so. A no cell phone rule down there really needs to be enforced.
Hotel Etoile Maillot

I am not sure where the negative reviews came from but I had an enjoyable stay for one night. I work for a company whose HQ is nearby so I know the other hotels in the area. My room was spacious with a lovely couch and table, a good working area. The wardrobe space was adequate for me but might be a bit small for a couple who actually unpack and are there for a week. Tea and coffee making facilities were appreciated. The bathroom had a separate bath and large shower. Bathrobe and slippers are included. Although the room was right on the road I could barely hear anything and the blackout curtains worked well. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. I was well rested the next day. Compared to other hotel rooms in nearby hotels I know the fit and finish was good and the room was well maintained. Perhaps the hotel has responded to the feedback from other reviews? The breakfast was the standard fare for a French hotel i.e. more than adequate. The viennoisseries were particularly good. I only wish there was some loyalty scheme.

Saint Germain des Pres
I chose the hotel for the location and based on other reviews and was totally blown away. The location was very convenient for shopping, restaurants, and access to the rest of Paris. The hotel and rooms were clean, comfortable, and charming with just enough modern technology. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond in every way. One member actually asked if I should put on jacket before I went out one evening. The concierge recommended great local recommendations instead of touristy options (they do offer VIP line access to Les Deux Magots if you're into that). Especially appreciated the Diptyque toiletries and Dyson hair dryer. I'll definitely stay again.
