I stayed in Paris during a very expensive period - I have no idea what was on, maybe fashion week?! Or maybe just the first Parisian summer after Covid... who knows. So I picked this hotel because it was a bit cheaper and I'd never stayed around the area before. There's not a great deal of touristy stuff but there are some great local restaurants and bars, and a huge Carrefour about 15 mins walk away if you want to bring any food souvenirs back! The guy on reception whose name I unfortunately forgot was super friendly and recommended a great restaurant to me very close by. He also mentioned that you get a great view of the Eiffel Tower from the bridge nearby - I also saw the top of it from the balcony in my room :) The room was clean and comfortable - standard chain hotel style but a bit more stylish with some artworks at least. My only gripe is that the air conditioner wasn't really coping... but I just opened the windows for a while to let the night air blow in, then it seemed to keep the room cool for the rest of the night.

There are so many reasons to appreciate this beautiful boutique hotel, it's hard to know where to begin. From our first contact via email to check in and the full stay through check out, service was impeccable. The hotel itself is just beautiful with efficient yet spacious rooms, elegant decor and perfect daily room service. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Meals offerings were quite nice, with a substantial French breakfast which we returned to several times. Small meals we ordered to the room were 'just right' and delivered quickly, piping hot. We felt thoroughly taken care of, yet our stay felt effortless and extremely private. One of the best things about this hotel is that, while it is luxurious and offers every amenity we could want, we felt all the ”extras” we paid for were perfectly reasonable. This was refreshing to experience in a hotel and prompted us to spend more time and money than we typically would for hotel services. The location in the 16th (our first visit to this arrondisement) is really ideal. It is fully away from heavily touristed areas, so very easy-going and pleasant, with plenty of amenities nearby and an easy distance to virtually every other location in the city. The hotel block is book-ended by 2 metro stations - so convenient. We loved our stay at Hotel Botaniste and plan to return to it on our next visit (& the next). Thanks so much to all the staff for one of our best stays yet in this wonderful city!

We are just back from a stay in this hotel and wanted to say we had an amazing experience. Location was great lovely area. Hotel was to top standard loved the coffee, facilities little touches like puzzle/game for children in reception. Rooms well equipped (not massive but all we needed for a place to stay) and clean. Location was walking distance to the paris football stadium which we did a tour of and kids ate at McDonald’s on the way back. Easy bus transport to and from the Eiffel Tower. Lovely market along the next street on the Sunday morning. The staff were brilliant so friendly and very helpful and it was much appreciated to make our stay extra special. Thank you

I spent 2 nights here in October 2022. It was okay. My room was on the first floor so the view from the balcony was not so great. The view was literally of a brick wall. There is no fridge in the room. There were blood stains on the carpet. The hallway had a weird smell to it. My room key deactivated the first night because I had it next to my credit card in my purse. The wifi was so jumpy, often losing connection every other minute. However, one thing I did like about the hotel was the location. It was walking distance to a lot of restaurants & the Eiffel Tower is like a 20 minute walk. Another thing I liked was the sauna. Breakfast was okay. The chocolate croissants were very good. The staff was nice.

Ordinary hotels in foreign countries generally have no breakfast. The hotel is close to the subway station, and the Paris Metro is well-developed. The room is small and the sound is not good. There is no hot water bottle, you need to leave the door key at the front desk. Booking for more than a week in advance is cheaper. There is a Chinese fast food restaurant opposite the second intersection on the Seine River. It can solve the taste of Chinese food and the price is not expensive.

The room was as I expected, quite small but updated. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were very lumpy. My room was number 11 on the first floor which was an awful location due to the proximity to the lobby reception area and the stairway which was extremely noisy the entire night. There was a loose screw in the floor entering the bathroom which I almost cut my foot on. The shower floor was extraordinarily slippery and I almost fell several times. The location is quite good with several cafés across the street and a pharmacy on the corner. If the hotel could somehow control the noise situation it would be an acceptable place.
