Excellent hotel! Location and rooms are just great! Very nice idea and concept and the host was very helpful! Many nice restaurants and shops around … for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Metro is very near and many nice shops are just a few steps away.

The check in process went smoothly and yes, the room is understandably small but I don't mind since I stayed on my own for 8 nights. The problem is their housekeeping. Sometimes, they cleaned my room in the late afternoon or after I returned back from my trip. Also, when they did, they were too lazy to fill up the drawer with coffee and tea every day. The funny thing is that each room gets 1 bottle of sparkling water and another bottle of mineral water for free on a daily basis, yet you can't opt for both in mineral water since I don't drink sparkling water. On my last day before check out time, I remember being told that I could check out until 1 pm for free, but that wasn't the case unfortunately on the actual day. I could understand the situation, but I find it hard to appreciate the manners of the front desk in charge on that day. No apologies being offered; instead, the front desk officer told me that he has the so-called ”power” to determine how late I could check out. He probably forgot that most of his paycheck are coming from the paying customers, especially those staying for more than a week yet he has the audacity to tell me about his power. What a funny man! I guess he lacks the proper etiquee in communication.

The room is quite decent, and there are three Michelin-starred restaurants. For us Chinese, an Italian restaurant with a meter of 1 meter is more suitable. The location is excellent (of course other luxury hotels in Paris have better locations).

They mis-advertise the rooms, because my room did not look like the pictures. It was a shoe-box and the lights in the room were either flickering or did not work. The bed is not even a queen size, it is a full. The shower did not have water coming from the top spout which was frustrating. We had to wait in a line to eat breakfast, because they could not sit everyone. The service at breakfast was awful. We asked for eggs 5 different times and the waiters kept blaming the chef for not making them, and one rolled his eyes at us whenever we would ask where our eggs were. We never got our eggs. A lot of the food was empty and generally people were very upset. You could hear confrontations left and right from customers to the waiters. The worst part of all, was that the waiters/manager did not care and told us to go ahead and write a bad review. The one good thing about this hotel is the location is right on Champs e Elysses.
