The hotel's breakfast is very good. Most of the people staying in this hotel are foreigners, and there are very few Chinese. It is pure European style. The room is not big, but the decoration is very classic. Can experience pure French style.

Just about to check out of this Beautiful cozy hotel. Staff were great warm and friendly. Location was excellent. The area was nice and quiet with some great cafes close by. The decor is fantastic and room was spotless. Perfect for your short stay in Paris

Hôtel de charme très bien situé. Chambre très confortable. Le personnel est attentionné, efficace et professionnel. Le petit-déjeuner, excellent, est servi avec gentillesse et tact. Une adresse vraiment authentique. Un vrai plaisir de séjourner à la Maison Athénée !

I was very surprised upon check in to be charged €150 by the staff as a “security fee” when this wasn’t listed on the ******* check in information. I challenged this at check in and was told it was a requirement of getting the room, even though I had paid in full I advance. The €150 was taken directly from my card (not a holding fee). Upon check out I was informed this was a mistake and the amount should have only been held. This impacted my stay as I had less funds available during the holiday which was only a two day stay. There was works going on in the hotel too, the Galway directly outside my bedroom was being painted but there were no signs or warnings from staff. Room itself was fine and comfortable, if a bit small. Shower was great and room was cleaned well. Lighting was very dark so struggled to do makeup - bring a torch! However the location was fab and we didn’t spend much time in the room.
