The person at the front desk was very kind.
It's close to the Eiffel Tower and you can walk to the Arc de Triomphe at night.
The bed was also very comfortable.

Such a fantastic hotel. Small and authentic. Staff were universally delightful! So welcoming. Clean rooms, not enormous but enough space. Great to have connecting rooms for children. Lovely buffet breakfast with good variety. Really recommend this one to families spending some time visiting Paris- handy for Eiffel tower and metro close to get to other sites.

Old Quirky Hotel! Location is within a long walking distance down several steps to the Eiffel Tower and other attractions. There is not much around the hotel and it is hidden down a very dark street. Our room and bath were very small which is not unusual, the lift was interesting floors were 1 1/2, 2 1/2 because you had to drag your luggage up a set of steps to reach the actual floor! At check-in Dan the clerk told us the fee for breakfast, but the coffee was free. However, at checkout the clerk charged us $40 for coffee stating that Dan was not around got very agitated and demanded we pay the fee. Overall, I was not pleased with the accommodations and would not recommend this hotel.

I have visited Paris 5 times, and every time I was fortunate to stay at Hotel Gavarni. The staff is the most helpful I've encountered anywhere. They made us feel like family and started our vacation on such a positive note. The room was lovely, clean and quiet. The breakfast (included) was delicious. They helped with downloading travel apps to navigate the metro system. I can not say enough about Hotel Gavarni. It will always be my "home away from home" in Paris.

We were upgraded to the Trocadero suite on the 6th floor. I believe from the pictures that it’s been freshly renovated/painted. It was beautiful. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. They put together a yummy spread for my daughter’s birthday and even brought it to our room and sang to her. We loved our time at this hotel.

Hotel fica no 16º distrito, um local bem próximo à Torre Eiffel e a Ponte Bir Hacken, uma das mais instagramáveis de Paris!!! Metrô a 200mts ( linha 6 ), menos de 5 minutos do Arco do Triumpho. O Hotel é bem no estilo parisiense, muito aconchegante. O quarto que ficamos é pequeno, porém atendeu muito bem, pois é tudo muito aconchegante camas bem confortáveis e cheirosas !! O sr. Carmel da recepção é muito agradável e pronto pra resolver qualquer pedido. Único inconveniente é que as paredes são finas e se ouve sons vindo do quarto ao lado...rsrs. Se os vizinhos forem silenciosos não incomoda.

Hotel rue Gavarni in the 16th, near the Eiffel Tower. Very welcoming, smiling and friendly welcome. The hotel is made up of 25 rooms on 5 levels. Stairs or small elevator will be available. Small rooms, well maintained and complete. Shower room with WC, are very narrow. Good bedding. WIFI good. Complete and hearty breakfast in a pleasant and comfortable room.
