We booked a yellow room (deluxe room), but unfortunately when we arrived on the day, only the purple room was available, which was slightly smaller, and the bed was not a 2-meter bed but a narrow double size.
But the hotel staff was very polite, and the hotel was in a good location, with easy access to the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Elysee Palace and Opera House, as well as Place de la Concorde and Place Vendôme. The most popular croissant bakery and chocolate shop are located downstairs from the hotel.

Edward 7 Hotel is right next to the Paris Opera House, and it takes only 10 minutes to walk to Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. There is also a very popular bakery downstairs.
