Mandarin Oriental, Paris

Another fantastic stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Paris! Since my last visit, I’ve noticed some delightful new touches—especially the breakfast. The croissants, made fresh on-site, are simply exceptional, and the coffee is equally superb. One evening, I tried the room service menu, and it was a wonderful experience. My meal arrived promptly, and though I didn’t catch the name of the young staff member who delivered it, he was extremely helpful and brought my dinner with a warm smile. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The staff are an absolute joy, always going above and beyond to be helpful, kind, and focused on making your stay unforgettable. The pool and gym are excellent as well! The gym, in particular, is outfitted with modern equipment suited for all kinds of workouts. Five stars all the way.

The smell when I walk into the hotel makes me feel like I’m home again… I’ve been staying on & off for 20 years! In fact, I have tried all the other 5* hotels & always come back to the MO I love this hotel to bits!!! The breakfast (salmon with scrambled eggs On sourdough toast) is the perfect start to my day

I have been here now 5 nights. It's a bed-&-bkfst. arrangement, so l eat bkfst. here every morning. Nearly every morning in the restaurant someone has carried on a phone conversation or a FaceTime (or both) at table on speakerphone, oblivious to all others present. It seems perhaps that could be done in one’s room, for instance.

Enough cannot be stated for the outstanding personal attention given by the MO staff. Everyone from the Bell, Reception, Food/Bev and Concierge team exceeded our expectation. A special shout out goes to Mathilde and Pierre in the Concierge department. We loved our clean and quiet room…. With a special note for their bed!!! I’m extremely picky!!! Its always a great treat and privilege to stay at MOPAR. I stayed from Oct 14-21, 2024 for part work/vacation. I booked the terrace room. MOPARs guest services/concierge team's communication with me prior to my arrival is always very welcome as they are confirming details of my stay as well as arranging travel to and from the airport and I very much appreciate that level of personal attention. Check in was as always very efficient and easy. the Front desk staff are exceptional professionals. Check in took less than 5 min. My room was outstanding. always grateful to the dining services and pastry team for providing me with bottled water/mineral water and an assortment of fruot and pastries to begin my stay. the pastry team would send up an assortmenr of delicious treats (my favorite among many was the St Honore. they make the best one in the city!) there would usually be someone from the hotel (including Venky) who would ask if I needed additional fruit or if the mini bar needed refreshing. Housekeeping as always was exceptional every day. Thanks to this incredible team. Thanks also to the laundry service. I had a tear in a favorite Tshirt under the arm sleeve (old but a favorite) on the plane trip to Paris and I had asked if this could be repaired. a member from the housekeeping came to my room ro inspect the garment and said he would ask. When I came back to my room that evening I saw the T shirt in the closet with the tear reapired and cleaned. Check out was as efficient as check in. I thank MOPAR once again. I am returning to Paris in Feb 2025 and this is the only hotel I would consider

Bad service very slow to answer my request and sometimes no response food was very average breakfast food very bad. The room service is bad as well. Very disappointing on the spa not what I expected and it extremely expensive giving the price they charge

We have been staying at the Mandarin Oriental Paris since they first opened. It is a gorgeous hotel and we love it the most because the management is outstanding. The hotel manager Edouard Lapasset and Cyndie Richard made sure to exceed our expectations. We stayed for almost a month so the great service was even more apparent. Every part of the hotel was flawless. The valet, concierge, front desk, room service etc.. were all run to perfection. The hotel is modern with the best bathroom. Large beautiful room and the best location for shopping! Everyone was professional and service was personal and efficient. We will definitely return to the Mandarin Oriental Paris very soon.
