Villino Eleonora is a gem in Calabria, which offers the visitor a retreat from a busy world. The accommodation is set in tranquil gardens, and from the patio, one can see Strombolli, as it gives a gentle and occasional puff! Magical sunsets viewed from the patio are to be enjoyed every evening before departing for a wonderful dinner, and a glass or two of Calabrian wine. The breakfasts are a feast. Every day, a different home cooked treat! Alessandro and Cinzia are the husband and wife team who are there to welcome their guests and Alessandro, who speaks perfect English can answer all queries and make lots of suggestions about where to go and what to do. Thank you to both of them for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely sensational stay here for the last 5 days. Alessandro and his family/staff went well beyond making us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were delicious (a different egg dish with fresh cut fruit, juice and coffee of choice each day), the bed was firm but very comfortable and the room was air conditioned. A short walk into Parghelia where there were nice restaurants and some small markets. The beach was near but it requires a long walk down steep hills. Tropea was a 5 minute train ride from Parghelia which was considerably cheaper than the taxi which was €20 each way. If you have mobility issues, you will probably need a car to get around. As mentioned by everyone, Alessandro made us feel like friends and his establishment deserves every 5 star review it gets. Charming, rustic and comfy and we can't wait to return. Thank you so much for everything!

Soggiorno indimenticabile! Questo B&B è un vero gioiello: la raffinatezza della struttura e il giardino fatato hanno creato un'atmosfera magica. Le camere erano impeccabilmente pulite e confortevoli. La colazione era un tripudio di sapori deliziosi. Ma ciò che ha reso tutto ancora più speciale è stata l'ospitalità di Alessandro, il proprietario, sempre gentile e disponibile. Consigliatissimo! Stop searching. You’ve found THE most amazing place to stay near the gorgeous city of Tropea on the Calabrian coast. Villino Eleonora is a gorgeous stately home, at the edge of the town of Parghelia and perched just above (10 minutes walking) from two of the regions most beautiful beaches (La Grazia and Michelino). The property is run by the wonderful Allesandro and his charming wife, super welcoming and full of excellent local recommendations. The property itself is stunning: the guest rooms are situated at one end of the beautiful gardens, each with its own private patio where a gorgeous and delicious homemade breakfast is served every day. The rooms are perfectly equipped, and filled with all of the small thoughtful touches that distinguish this place from 99.9% of hotels. Their website slogan says “Come as guests, leave as friends” and we certainly feel that way. Thank you for an exceptional experience

Bellissimo posto molto suggestivo e rilassante nonostante non abbiamo scelto la stagione ideale. Molto curato sia esternamente che le camere, riscaldate e pulite. Proprietari gentilissimi che rendono il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. La spa piccolina molto intima , dopotutto è stata studiata per le coppie. Vasca idromassaggio, sauna, doccia emozionale, zona relax con tisana calda . Non mancava nulla, Tutto studiato perfettamente per coccolare il cliente. Dalla cuffietta per i capelli, al kit spazzolino e dentifricio.. incredibile..e poi la colazione buona e genuina preparata al momento. Facile da raggiungere.. non vediamo l'ora di tornarci!!! Provare per credere!!!

Avevamo bisogno di staccare la spina e abbiamo scelto questo villino anche per la SPA alla quale si accede non direttamente dalle camere ma bisogna fare un piccolo tratto all'aperto, va bene in primavera ed in estate ma in inverno arrivaci in accappatoio è complicato. La SPA molto ben curata e rilassante ma entrare in piscina attraverso tubolari alquanto scivolosi si rischia di farsi male, io personalmente ho avuto davvero difficoltà e dolore ai piedi, certo non sarò stata molto ginnica ma per una persona di mezza età è davvero complicato. I proprietari molto accoglienti e disponibili. Il villino molto bello ma sinceramente non me lo aspettavo a ridosso della strada principale..... Con i rumori delle macchine passanti e lo smog dell'asfalto.

Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte e usufruito della spa, è stato tutto perfetto! Personale gentilissimo, colazione abbondante allestita in giardino tra il verde che rendeva tutto estremamente rilassante. Le camere erano pulitissime e disponevano, di tutti i comfort, inoltre erano presenti pettini, spazzolini e dentifricio monouso. Lo consiglio vivamente! Complimenti
