Eco Torarica is a very pleasant place to stay, Every aspect of Hospitality is excellent. It's a very cosy environment with a lot of green to enjoy.

This was the chosen hotel in Paramaribo during our tour around the Guianas and it proved to be a good choice. The room was a bit small but clean enough and had the essentials. The breakfast was decent, though you needed to remain on your toes as the local wildlife seemed to want to share it with you.

Wafer thin walls, no peace. You can hear ppl sigh next door. The housekeeping staff is very loud disregarding the do not disturb signs. Poor breakfast choices, you have to ask the staff to replenish things. I waited for 1.5 hrs for an iron which I finally went to get myself.

We stayed at this hotel for our conference that booked it for the entire team. The food was amazing. The staff were extremely friendly. The only downside was the fact that we could not control the air conditioning. In my case, I really wanted it to be turned off but it had to be left on due to humidity. Another downside noise coming from the street because my room was close.to the main road and there is very little sound insulation. But overall this was a beautiful property and the food was very reasonably priced.

Het is een eco resort maar niet echt zichtbaar. Kamer was netjes maarrrrrr …….als je een kamer hebt waar,dmv een tussendeur een familie kamer van worden gemaakt, ……advies is daar niet te slapen. Super gehorig als deze ook wordt gebruikt. Je wordt ongewild deelgenoot van teveel geluiden. Je kan ook gebruik maken van de andere locaties van Torarica voor ontbijt of zwembad wat bij deze niet aanwezig is. Het ontbijt is goed verzorgd en heeft veel keus.

The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They arranged travel to the airport the following morning and recommended a nearby restaurant to eat at. Upon returning after dinner, the bartender was friendly and made me feel at home. Overall, this is a nice place to stay with clean and quiet rooms.

This hotel is in a central location in Paramaribo and has character. The grounds are simply beautiful, with a pool which looks out over the river. Be aware the rooms on the street side are a bit noisy. The rooms with "river view" are the best, but cost 25 USD extra. I think that is good value. The staff is amazing: friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is ok. Only real issue I had is with the coffee, which has the color and taste of dishwater (a.k.a. US coffee). They have an espresso machine in the restaurant in the main building, but only after 10 AM. Hence 4 stars out 5....
