The staff were so kind, they were smiling every time we ran into them. And every time they asked us how they can help. The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and huge. The pools are located in front of the sea so it’s very nice in the sunsets
Terrific hotel we will definitely return soon

The worst 5 star hotel I ever stayed
First impression - the hotel is stylish but when you come closer you see that it’s old, and really need some work
The check in time is at 14:00 but when we tried to get keys at 14:20 we’ve been told that the room is not ready yet and we had to wait 20 minutes more. The bathroom was so smelly with cigarettes
And the room is dark all day long. The windows was not changed for 20 years at least, it’s 100% not soundproof, so all loud cicadas outside was a big problem
The breakfast is so small and not various at all! It’s a shame to have this kind of breakfast and pretend that it’s 5 star
I’m disappointed for the first time in the row and I’m staying in hotels more than one year, so it was more than 100 hotels
My recommendation: NOT to book Almyra

Modern hotel near the Paphos Promenade. It was a very relaxing stay for us at the Almyra. The hotel is very clean and lovely. Our room was great and spacious, overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and the sensational sunset. The outdoor area was large and comfortable , especially the pool and bar areas. Being close to the sandy beach was a bonus. Finally the breakfast was very good as well as the traditional Ouzeri restaurant.

This was our 3rd stay at Almyra and it was just as amazing as the first. We love the peace and tranquility which is always the perfect way to recharge the batteries. Everyone here is so helpful and attentive from Eleni and Nikoleta at breakfast and dinner, who treated us like old friends and took such great care of us, Valentin and Dominika who made our lunches in Notios so much fun, Andrea and Dominos who attended to our every whim around the pool, always with a chat and a smile and of course Dragos who was equally friendly and attentive even when asked for drink concoctions he’d never heard of. And that is to name but a few, ultimately there isn’t one person here who doesn’t go above and beyond from the minute they open the door for you, they can’t do enough to make your stay the best it can be. Outstanding as always and we are already looking forward to our next visit

Amazing holiday from start to finish. The room had a comfortable bed and was lovely and quiet. Beautiful outside areas with lots of plants. I particularly enjoyed the quiet of the adult only pool - it was always easy to get a comfortable bed by the pool. Great selection of food at the breakfast buffet with a lovely seating area outside. The evening buffet was of good standard for a buffet, though I imagine if you stay for longer, you may want to eat elsewhere at times for variety. But best of all where the staff here from the reception staff, to the cleaners, to the man who fixed my air con to the pool attendants. All super friendly and helpful. A special mention goes to the waiting staff who were so friendly, attentive and full of good humour, in particular Eleni and Nikoleta but also Stavros and Milen - thank you!!

The hotel was ok, but in my opinion it’s not a 5 star hotel. Our original room that we booked only had a juliet balcony which to be fair we should have noticed in the description, however photos on the Jet2 website were not clear enough. With rooms starting at over £200 per night (bed and breakfast) all rooms should have proper balconies. I have stayed all over Europe and have never seen a 5 star hotel with these balconies unless in the city. The hotel has almost no atmosphere, you could hear a pin drop at the side of the pool. This is also the first hotel I’ve been to which doesn’t offer any form of entertainment, even in the evenings. The breakfast buffet was very average (more like a 3 star hotel). All the eggs besides omelettes were pre cooked, and the fried eggs were not even remotely cooked on top. The hotel do an evening housekeeping check, but it’s at around 6pm when everyone’s getting ready to go out for the night. The cleaners knock and if you don’t answer straight away, they just let themselves in. There were a few times the cleaner had let themselves into the room as I’d just got out of the shower and was stood in my towel. Despite all of this, the pools were nice and the hotel has lovely sea views. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a good holiday but wouldn’t rate this hotel 5 star and wouldn’t stay again, as I have been in many other hotels with better value for money.
