This place is a great place to stay in Papeete. It is honestly the center of the city and only a few minutes walk to the port. The staff spoke good English and were very friendly. We only stayed here for one night as we mostly spend our time in Moorea and to be honest we couldn’t fault the place. The staff goes above and beyond their duty, upon arriving back in Tahiti (11 days later) we needed to call for a taxi because they were no taxi at the taxi stand at the time and although we were not staying with them they still called a taxi for us.

We were sent here by Air Tahiti Nui after they cancelled our flight, but this is a boutique hotel with only 22 rooms and Air Tahiti Nui sent 10 parties of people here 🤯. Of course none of this was the fault of the Maitai, and their staff was sooooo understanding of our situation. Not only did they get on the phone multiple times with Air Tahiti Nui to make sure the people they could not fit got accommodation elsewhere, they actually called the other accommodation to make sure they really had room for us! For me, the best customer service comes from people who truly care about people, regardless of whether you are a customer yet. Thank you Maitai staff for going above and beyond to take care of a bunch of tired folks who just wanted to get some rest after a frustrating experience. We will definitely visit next time we are in Papeete!

Centrale, bella hall, con divanetti, personale alla reception disponibile e gentile. ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. camere comode con bagno, pulite, come si può vedere dalle foto. colazione varia ed abbondante, che viene anche fornita da asporto.

Excellent structure located in the center. On foot you can reach all the points of interest. Excellent value for money, very helpful and kind staff. Available to solve any type of problem. Very comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast

I have never seen that, certainly the reception is very correct but as for the rooms, it was a disaster, very few electrical outlets, a very small and unpleasant folding sofa, we had to change rooms because the first room where we were the door had been forced, so we went to a room on the fourth floor, no curtain so a constant light in the room, the noise from the street was just unbearable, soundproofing not present at all, moreover until at least 1/2am a bar at the bottom of the hotel with loud music, I did not sleep all night, all that for 300€, overpriced run away!!!
