Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel!
All services in this hotel are performed with the utmost care. If there are already comments, we actively listen and immediately try to resolve them.
Although this is a large hotel, this is not really noticeable as several slices have been made where the guests can stay. Except in the main restaurant it can be very busy, but in other places this is manageable. Breakfast by the sea is a must.
Selection of drinks is very extensive and well cared for. Meals are very tasteful.

We had a fantastic 8 night stay at the Grecotel mid Oct. We were upgraded to a fantastic family room in the Casa Marina area. I will echo what the previous review says in terms of the pools are lovely, comfy sun loungers and beautiful beach. What made our stay here was the staff, unfortunately all of our family also caught the Novovirus bug that was doing the rounds. As grim as it was the hotel were fantastic on ensuring our family had everything we needed and called multiple times during the day to check how we were and if we needed medical attention. The cleanliness of the hotel was fantastic, the staff did all possible to limit the spread of the virus. The bar and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming, the wine is excellent and the food quality is great. The location of the hotel is in a small quiet village with not much around but it is very pretty. My only suggestion that this hotel could improve on would be to make space for kids to play football/multi sports. There is a very small area beside the kids club but it's not really big enough to have a proper kick around. In the evening the tennis court was full of children wanting to play football. My teenage son really missed having space to have a proper kick around. Maybe during summer months the daytime programme has a lot more activities for older kid's?

Last night out of 10 here, lots of good stuff to say! Starting with the staff, where do you start, everyone has a "can do" attitude! I don't think Grecotel do fail, they sort it, and if they can't they'll get someone who can. Room maintenance, breakfast, dinner, everyone is so friendly & efficient not one single bad experience. That's some ethos to pull off with so many staff, the grounds are immaculate, all areas very clean & welcoming. Location great, bars in seperate locations, amphitheatre is a nice experience,food good and the buildings are stunning especially the main complex/lobby bar. I'm not usually this pleased or complimentary but they really do get it right here. You'll want for nothing, they makesure of it & I'm sure we will be back. The Cretans really are very lovely people 😊

Arrivée très décevante. Nous avons réservé cet hôtel depuis plusieurs mois. Nous avions prévu d'y passer 15 nuits. La réservation prévoyait une vue mer. Grosse déception lors de notre arrivée, depuis la chambre situé au rez-de-chaussée, aucune vue sur mer... Pire, la réception refuse de nous proposer une solution car le service réservation est fermé le soir. Un membre de l'accueil nous répond que l'on voit la mer entre les arbres si l'on se penche un peu et semble prendre à la légère la situation. Nous sommes des habitués de la Crète et n'avons jamais subi un tel manque de respect du client. Une situation pas à la hauteur pour une chaîne comme Grecotel !

Nachdem es bei der Anreise Probleme mit dem zugeteilten Zimmer gab (hier gibt es wohl oft die gleichen Fälle bei TUI Reservation) und der Operation Manager es lösen konnte war es ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Der dörfliche weitläufige Charakter der Anlage ist sehr ansprechend. Kein Hotelbunker ! Eine sauberes, sehr freundliches und erholsames Resort !

Super hôtel pour une famille. 2 place de jeux (dont 1 couverte) et plusieurs activités proposées au kids club pour les enfants. Mini disco le soir avec des animateurs qui ont beaucoup d'entrain! Le staff dans le resto et l'hôtel sont bienveillants envers les enfants. Nourriture bonne et variée. Il y a un coin avec des plats pour que les enfants puissent se servir seuls. Seul bémol, les profs des cours de fitness/yoga ne sont pas très movitants.

Highlights: Essen (Qualität, Auswahl, Rezepte) und Kids Programm (insbesondere Family Disco)! Gastfreundlichkeit von ganzen Personell, insbesondere Haupt Restaurant! Management ist Lösungs- und Kundenorientiert! Personell ist die Seele des Resorts und alle sind freundlich und professionell! Toll dass Menschen aus Griechenland und von der lokalen Community eingestellt sind. Pizzas und Crepes fantastisch! Empfehlungen: Zimmer Renovierungen, noch ein Restaurant, Eis nicht “Hausgemacht”: passt nicht die Qualität und Standards von Restaurants’ Essens Niveau.

Very enjoyable family holiday. The kitchen and restaurant staff are fantastic and very helpful. The sport activities are plenty but was a little surprised that the coach tended to be late and would not present herself before the session although it was always a great work out. The mini disco staff are brilliant and know how to get the kids have a great time with long lasting memories

Myself and my husband had a lovely 10 night stay in early October. The room was clean and well looked after. Food is nice and there's lots of it. Different pools offer snacks throughout the day. What makes this hotel is the staff, they literally can't do enough for you, they are a credit to the brand.
