Awesome place to stay. Very close to the lake. Air conditioning would have been nice but wasn’t a deal breaker.

Había escuchado buenas referencias del hotel, incluso por las fotos que publica, pareciera bueno. Reservé dos habitaciones por dos noches, por temas de trabajo. La experiencia fue mala: zancudos, camas pésimas y olores horribles (a desagüe, prácticamente). Por la hora en que llegamos, no hubo alternativa, entonces me quejé al día siguiente y preferí cambiar de hotel. Al hablar con el gerente (Por teléfono, porque nunca se encontró en el hotel), me ofreció reembolsar la noche que no utilizaríamos la habitación. Hoy recibí una transferencia con el 50% del reembolso, porque "si hubiera avisado con tiempo, me hubieran cambiado las habitaciones", o sea que el castigo por haberme quedado la noche anterior, fue el 50% de la noche siguiente. Nada recomendable.

I stayed at several places in Panajachel, and Dos Mundos was at the top of the list. I enjoyed the facilities and location it was near the lake and Calle Santander, which is the busiest street in the town. Although it was in the center of the town, it was quite quiet, and I had a wonderful sleep. Not to mention the food at the restaurant was great, the best authentic Italian food in town.

Great location and great area.. Garden, small pool, quiet... Now rooms could be renewed. Especially beds that are too hard.. Finally breakfast is not good... Too little quantity and very limited. And not very good . Also had to 'negotiate' to get a third cup of coffee.. Only two were included!! So good hotel for a short stop in the area

The attention of the staff is incredible, they are very attentive. The food is exquisite as always, we ate there every day and look forward to visiting again. It is a very quiet place near the Lake and with secure parking, we love going as a family.

Wonderful hotel in a great location to access the lake, restaurants, and shopping. The rooms are first class. Very neat, clean and comfortable. The courtyard is a lovely place to hang out for a rest. Staff is great. The one morning we ate breakfast in the hotel dining room we found the service was somewhat limited. Highly recommend.

It is a nice hotel, but the attention of its staff does not honor its facilities. Their staff is poorly behaved, they do not provide any type of information. During our stay they made extra charges without informing us that they were not included in the rate and obviously without our authorization, when I was going to make the payment of those “charges” it could not be paid by card, only in cash. Personally, I do not recommend it, nor would I return to that place.

Bad service, bad service. In the restaurant I had seen that the waiters served poorly, then we stained the sheets with blood due to an accident, we washed them and the maid and the receptionist insisted that it was pee even though it was water, they were wet. They didn't want to let us out even though out of courtesy we had washed them so as not to make them look bad. They treated us badly.
