Super nice staff and a location right in the middle of the main stretch of Palm Springs. Free shuttle to and from the airport!
They had fun events like karaoke and bingo on Thursday & Friday. Pool and hot tub were decent. The room itself is big, but kinda dirty. Our room didn't have a view but the price was right.

Good airport free shuttle. The high-rise terrace view was really nice. The room close to the elevator is very noisy. But I was able to stand the noise with a nice view. The location is really the best.

The location is ambiguous, there are not many amenities around, and the atmosphere is a bit outdated.
Room condition is good and service is good.
Parking is outdoors.
$9 parking fee is not good.
But it's good value for money for a cheap one night stay.
Willing to stay again on my next visit.

I booked a standard room for 400 per night, which can accommodate four people. The swimming pool is nice. The desert area is very hot, so I stayed there for one night. There are delicious food nearby. The first room I stayed in was leaking, so I was immediately moved to another one. There were many Americans staying, and it is a cheap hotel. Free parking is very cost-effective. There is a smoking burger nearby, which tastes great!

This is my go-to hotel in the desert. I know there are many places to stay in DHS but Aqua Soleil is THE spot. Try all the spots, which was my original plan, but when I went here, I never tried any other places because I am so happy and comfortable here . I know, it sounds over-the-top but this place is ALWAYS CLEAN and if something comes up the staff is there to help. The pool is clean and centrally located in the middle of the hotel so you can look out and see the pool, jacuzzi and mineral spring pool, surrounded by tall trimmed palms on all 4 corners of the inner area of the hotel. This place is across the street from a Grocery Outlet so you can make a store run if you need stuff. It is at the beginning of the strip in Desert Hot Springs, right off the main road so if you keep traveling down the main road, go get food/drinks/a few little shops - the do flip a U and go right back to the hotel. There are fridges in the rooms and a community microwave on the first floor outside and vending machines for sodas inside the main lobby. I have been coming here for the past 2+ years. They are constantly making improvements and keeping up with maintenance. There is also a small population of doves that chill on the railing 🤍 of the third floor.

Good: 1. Room was clean and modern. Poor: 2. Housekeeping and breakfast variety was non-existent. 3. By 3:30PM housekeeping hadn't shown up all three days of our stay. 4. Had to ask twice for housekeeping to make the bed & replace towels. 5. Breakfast was the same all three mornings. Pre-frozen cheese omelet, sausage and dried-up potatoes. Location feels like in the middle of the dry, windy desert. Our car looked like it had driven thru a desert windstorm with dust and gritty sand that even seeped inside the car. Would not stay here again but opt for something closer to town with grass and trees and green landscape, not desert landscape.

To be honest this resort wasn’t our first choice for a girls trip - but I found us a great deal and it had decent reviews. We arrived late at night and were impressed by the spacious entry way. Check-in was quick and easy - although the front desk clerk was perhaps not the most friendly. I asked if he had any tips for us - it was our first time to the area and he said, “umm Palm Springs is about 30 min away”. Yep we just flew in so that’s one thing we did know We had the choice between the main building and outer building. I didn’t know what that meant so I went with main and I’m glad we did. We were in the 6th floor, not far from an elevator which was handy for the Oasis pool area Breakfast in the morning at Rockwood was fantastic. Between the group we tried the American breakfast and Wet Burrito on the first day and it was ll fantastic. The rest of the trip we opted for the buffet. At $32 a person including beverages it was a great deal. The buffet included fruits, bagels and breads, smoked salmon and meats, breakfast potatoes, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles and an omelet station. On the weekend they had a crepe station. The pastry selections were fantastic and delicious. There were 3 pools in the Oasis pool area- a lap pool, larger pool and “upper deck”. The upper deck is just a smaller pool that seemed to be more of an overflow area - would have made sense to be an adults only pool but wasn’t. There were some VIP chairs but for $75 were completely unnecessary on our trip. We had no problem finding pool chairs near the pool and under umbrellas . Water stations around the pool were a nice touch The first day we had one pool server who was amazing and went above and beyond. Think his name was Connor. The next day we had a server that gave us a sign to raise when we wanted help…they sold pool floaties and I asked if we purchased one did the pool in gate them for us…most resort pools do…. She was offended I implied she might blow up the floaty and said we could do it ourselves or try to get a pool boy to do it but she brought the drinks. Ummm. Definitely didn’t expect our server to inflate a floaty - sorry I asked Pool drinks were great. Skip the nachos but the quesadilla was great and only $13 The lobby shop was inflated more than I expected but had a great selection of things you may have forgotten at home - also had pool floaties for $13 compared to $18-25 at the pool. The resort had a lot of fun things to do that we didn’t have time for - mini golf, outside lawn games and boat rides. The hotel bar looked fun and was centrally located Overall a very good stay - exceeded our expectations and I think we’ll be back! Definitely get the breakfast!

Outstanding
From start to finish, my experience at Dessert Rivera Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. The design is a beautiful homage to Palm Springs’ iconic mid-century modern architecture, with vibrant colors, sleek lines, and a touch of vintage flair. Every corner of the property is Instagram-worthy! Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. The pool area is a highlight and the service at Dessert Rivera Hotel was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. It was clear that the team takes great pride in providing an outstanding guest experience. Their local recommendations and personalized touches made me feel like a valued guest. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring all that Palm Springs has to offer. It’s just a short distance from downtown, making it easy to access dining and shopping, yet, it’s set back enough to offer a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Dessert Rivera Hotel is a true gem in Palm Springs. Whether you’re here for a romantic escape, a solo retreat, or a special celebration, this hotel delivers on all fronts. I cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning soon!
BBurgeWhat a beautiful, quaint and charming little hotel! I’ve always wanted to stay here in the past but I was so happy that a room was available on this visit. What wonderful customer service the entire visit. We stayed two nights and were so relaxed! Such a quiet place and walking distance to so many awesome restaurants not to mention the ****** is right across the street. The pool and jacuzzi was open 24 hours a day which was amazing for a late night swim under the palms and full moon. Highly recommend this boutique! Can’t say enough great things about it.
This was my second visit to the Del Marcos. First trip was back in 2021 and I can say that he quality of the property has gone down hill since 2021. There is wear and tear on many surfaces. Lots of paint touch up needed and many pieces of furniture need to be repaired or replaced. The pool loungers are in DESPERATE need of replacement. Some of them fell through while we were laying on them and they are very sun bleached. The bedding in our room felt old and or cheap. Pillows were the saddest pillows I've ever used. There was no working overhead light or fan in our bathroom, so they put a standing lamp in there. Just felt cheap. The included breakfast feels like they really lowered the quality as well. Still decent but a bit disappointing for the pricepoint of this hotel. The hotel itself is such an iconic space but it is being left in disrepair which is really sad. Back in 2021, it was probably one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at, and while this time, we still had a really nice time and enjoyed the space, I felt like the price point no longer matches the quality. I do not splurge very often on pricey nice hotels like this so it was a bit disappointing. The staff were all so friendly and wonderful.
JJIEThe environment and location of the hotel are ok, but the service is not satisfactory. Ctrip stated that the in-store breakfast plus $11, but the hotel charged $38 according to the rack rate, communicated with the front desk, and showed the Ctrip order note, but let us find Ctrip. The parking fee was obviously $18, and the credit card charge was $25. Later, I went to Ctrip's customer service to recover it. Ctrip's after-sales service is as good as always. The hotel’s random chargeback phenomenon, I still hope that the friends who stay in check the bill.
TTaryn NicoleStaff were helpful and pleasant throughout my stay. Food was delicious. Only complaint would be the pool being very warm so much so that it wasn’t refreshing. Perhaps they could improve this by adding some kind of shading to the pool area. Otherwise a wonderful stay in a central location.
GGuest UserThis was my second stay in this motel-style place (it’s 2 story - so prepare for stairs - and outside doors all face a courtyard). Super clean, friendly staff, and excellent balconies, pool, and hot tubs. The only downside is that the hotel is on a busy road, but there is a narrow sidewalk to the nearest intersection and the walk into the heart of Palm Springs is pleasant (e.g., it’s an easy 10-minute stroll to the Thursday night market, famous artwork, etc.). Our family has had two great stays here and will continue to make it our go-to for Palm Springs!
The Ace Hotel & Swim Club is a modern desert oasis with 2 deep pools, a spa, a gym and close to downtown Palm Springs. I enjoyed my Ace Suite with King bed, upscale living area with vintage furniture like a steamer trunk, guitar, record player and more. There was a private patio, fireplace and bath with a shower & tub. I relished the meals at the onsite Kings Highway (modern roadside diner) especially the Belgian waffles and breakfast burritos. The Feel Good Spa offers guest a laid-back massage and other spa treatments. I opted for the Deep Goodness Bodywork treatment to alleviate my tension and soreness. So, if you are looking for a hotel with a desert chic, natural hot springs and a mountain backdrop............then try the ..........Ace Hotel & Swim Club..............a resort framed by a mountain backdrop and modern homes.
GGuest UserThe entire hotel staff made me feel very welcomed to the property. I felt very much at home. Alec always goes out of his way to ensure I'm happy. The entire property has a terrific vibe, and it's definately a diverse crowd. All are welcome!
The rooms were very basic. No frig. No microwave. No coffeemaker. No shampoo. Only one hard chair. But, for the most part they were clean although the bed had a noticeable dip in it and our sink faucet was super loose. They were in the middle of repaving the parking lot when were there and we had to move our car to the side where there were homeless people near the parking area which was a little disconcerting at far as security. Despite it's faults, we had a decent night's sleep with little road noise and the price was more reasonable than we found anywhere else in the area. All of the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. The gentleman that checked us in, was engaging and claimed I looked like Reba McEntire. Lol. He also stopped us in the parking lot to recommend the margaritas at the local Mexican restaurant. When I checked out in the morning, Jeff asked how our stay had been and made me smile when I turned to leave and he said ”We'll leave the light on for you!” After checking out we realized we needed a key card to access the ice machine for our small cooler. Without hesitation, Jeff offered to make my husband a new key card to accommodate our needs. We were super impressed with the customer service which has not been our experience at most budget motels. If we were staying in the area longer we would probably opt for a motel with more amenities and creature comforts, but for one night, it met our needs and we would stay here again.
SSotoThe cleaning of the room was the only issue for me. There was a bandaid on the top edge of the shower and one of the towels had hair ball on it. The floors we’re swept but not cleaned. Other than that it was what I expected for a short noticed booking. I did get a small refund for my stay which is why gave it high customer service marks.
