"This hotel is in a great location, but it really needs an overhaul. The room felt quite dated, and the ceiling had signs of previous mould. It appears to have been cleaned, but not very thoroughly. We had 2 mugs only and there was no sink, you had to get your water for the kettle in the bathroom along with cleaning the cups and saucers. We stayed for 6 nights, and between my partner and I we were only given two towels for the entire stay. Any additional towels had to be paid for — which is completely unreasonable. At the very least, extra towels should be provided without charge. The outdoor garden area also needs attention, with a lot of leaf litter and overall lack of maintenance. Overall, the position is excellent, but the condition and basic amenities let it down."

"We stay at drift for 3 nights in 2 bedroom apartments. Frist things about self check in really complicated we figure out almost 1 hour.we arrive after 6pm so we have to do self chk in.Carpark also confusing because you have to find out your room number frist and can park to your room spot only with dark can't see. We really disappointed with the room it show when we book it 2 bedroom but room almost link together like connecting family room just close the window with blur window so you still can see through and can hear.one of our bath room can't vote the door it broken .hanging on the wall also broken. Bed comfortable close to the restaurant but so expensive to eat in palm cove area.swimpool was big but not heated we saty in.middle May still cold and have spa pool.small heat water. Nice garden.The lady we call before we arrived she is so nice and lively service she can speak Thai."

"The hotel I stayed at in Cairns was a resort. The room was huge, over 100 square meters, with three bedrooms, a large living room, and a fully equipped kitchen with cooking utensils and tableware, making cooking very convenient. The balcony faced the pool, so I could swim right downstairs. There was another hotel outside the resort with good food and beautiful scenery. I stayed there for three days, and it felt like time flew by; I really wished I could stay longer."

"My husband and I stayed at The Palms over the Easter weekend, our apartment had everything you needed. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, excellent location, the rooms were very clean and well presented. The member of staff we conversed with was very pleasant and most helpful. It is certainly a location and accommodation which would suit a longer stay. The pool was clean the grounds very pleasant and very reminiscent of Bali. Overall it is somewhere we would recommend and stay again. A delightful, quiet tropical resort in a perfect location, just a 4 minute stroll to the Main Street, restaurants and beach. There is also a well-stocked supermarket just a couple of minutes walk away too."

"Nicely appointed and well equipped room overlooking the rainforest lagoon pool, with a spa bath on the balcony. The main swimming pool area is fantastic, with a beach area and a swim up bar. There's also a separate warm pool and spa. Plenty of sunbeds to cater for everyone in a busy period."
