We had an amazing stay at the Riu Palace Aruba. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a truly luxurious feel from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent, especially at the specialty restaurants, with plenty of great options throughout our stay. We also loved the poolside entertainment during the day and the nightlife options in the evenings, which made the experience even more fun and memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and we would absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and upscale getaway in Aruba.

Two stars but still a great place. It would’ve been a dream vacation, but their communication about transportation was terrible. They were supposed to provide all inclusive with transportation. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way and I wound end up spending $178 for transportation to and from the airport to the hotel. Quite excessive. Their reasoning was I was supposed to sign up seven days prior. They couldn’t get me in on the list. Very poor excuse and they never told me this to begin with. What I will tell you is that the property has beautiful beaches. The property is extremely clean. They have great food. The drinks were lacking as they did not have a good quality tequila. It was actually awful. All the other drinks were great. The bedroom was excellent, and the view views were stunning. I’ve been going to the RIU for 15 years. I’ve been to a lot of of them. This one was the best of the best except for the transportation. Unfortunately, for that, I give it two stars it kind of ruined everything else.

We visited Aruba in April 2026 and had a wonderful stay. The resort is beautiful and features phenomenal daily entertainment and shows. It's a very family-friendly resort, so if you don't mind the lively atmosphere and the sounds of children having fun, you'll enjoy it. The customer service was excellent, the rooms were modern and comfortable, and there were plenty of amenities to keep us entertained. The location is also fantastic, with easy walking access to shopping, restaurants, and nearby beaches. We especially enjoyed the bingo events—they were a lot of fun! Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this resort.

We stayed at the RIU Palace Aruba Dec 3rd - Dec 7th and we were very happy with our choice . We booked a Junior Suite ocean view room and it was spectacular! Brand New and renovated, stunning views with a huge terrace/ balcony . Amazing food choices especially at the Buffet restaurant, although we had negative experience at the steak restaurant but that did not take away from the entire experience. Friendly staff , hotel clean and lobby smelled amazing . Nice daily entertainment. Truly a great trip and I would definitely come back again .

DO NOT GO HERE- YOU WILL REGRET IT This place is awful- Check out the pictures I posted. I have never taken the time to write a review, but I'm hoping someone reads these and it saves them from booking the place. We travel a lot and I was shocked at how bad this place is. Room was awful- mold, broken door, rust everywhere, exposed wires etc. NOT A FAMILY PLACE- I have kids - wouldn't do this again for free- CONSTRUCTION: They are renovating their hotel next door- Heavy construction noise all day long- jackhammers/ load banging- not even close to be being done. Honestly feel this place shouldn't be open to guests right now I truly hope someone reads this and skips this place- many other places in Aruba that are much better and way less expensive- I honestly feel like someone played a joke on me- couldn't believe I paid that much for this place- still bothers me. I complained to the front desk and they offered to change my room- I asked if it was a better room and they said it would be a downgrade- Their was 12 of us staying there and my entire family is still in shock how bad this place was. People in the hotel were also complaining- Have no idea how people give this place positive reviews. Please listen to me

Great locale, food supreme. Adults can enjoy buffet at neighbouring sister Riu resort Great beach, friendly staff From the door men/porters to the cleaning staff and all the customer facing staff and maintenance personnel, everyone was interested in making your stay the best. The entertainment was great from the piano bar, to the nightly performances, not to mention the singers and musicians at dinner buffet! The staff was always ready to help.

RIU Palace Antillas is terrible for stay, I would never spend my money with them again. I've been to multiple RIU resorts in various locations, the Aruba one has been the worst. I stayed at both Riu and Renaissance because I had a girls trip where we had rooms at RIU and I was also in the room with my guy at Renaissance where he booked. My guy came to help me get my luggage at RIU and some of the staff gave him a hard time just being in the hotel lobby area to assist me in getting my luggage, he wasnt using their amenities, eating their food nor drinking their drinks but they gave him issues with coming into the resort to help me get my luggage, the staff didn't allow my guy to come to my room to get my luggage for me...the staff was aggressive in their approach for no real reason, we returned from a party bus and was only in the lobby so I could get my luggage a couple days before I officially checked out of the room at RIU (I was staying in 2 places, so clearly money wasn't an issue). Yet they approached my guy disrespectful and unnecessarily because he walked into the hotel lobby, which is ridiculous. I will NEVER spend my money at RIU again, they have no respect for people and the amount of money we spend at their resort. Even the manager came and was very ignorant as well and had the nerve to say he would call the police because I didn't agree with them and how they were speaking to us and I spoke back and matched their energy. This place is a joke, if you're gonna speed your money for Aruba, stay somewhere else don't stay at RIU Palace Antillas.

Overall a wonderful experience ! Pros: Great beach location, good variety and presentation of food ( even for vegetarians) , friendly and accommodating staff ( they gave us an upgrade to a jr suite beach view ( no extra charge). Entertainment was very talented!. You could see they really take pride in cleaning the common area and rooms daily. I noticed all the machines at the bar were cleaned out daily., pools cleaned and well cared for daily. Cons: I think the only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 is that out room on the top floor was not updated or renovated yet. However, that being said, it was kept clean and cleaned daily.
