Where do I start ? When we first arrived at 3pm we were told room was not ready as there had been a disabled person in the room . After an hour wait we were shown to our 2nd floor room . Superior room it wasn’t , electrical socket hanging off , dirty pan , broken coat hooks and a bed in the kitchen ?? . €20 to hire a kettle , €20 a hairdryer, €25 for safe and if you need a/c it could be another €60.Pool area was nice but green line around the pool put you off a bit . The place is in an ideal location as it’s close to everything. Hadn’t used the hob until last morning turned it on got an ELECTRIC SHOCK !! from it and all power went , no one in reception TUI couldn’t get hold of anyone so had to dress in the dark . Would go again but definitely not this hotel .

Let's start with the bad.... Outside the appartments look ok, but inside they are very dated, think 1970's decor, tired, patched up in places. Toilet was constantly running, shower head leaked and very hard matresses. Food - Can't comment as we decided to find our own places to eat, which are close by Aircon is minimal, had to pay 20 pounds for an extra fan for the kids bedroom as the aircon was not good enough. On our last night the aircon packed up.... Roads outside, terrible, everyone wants to park either side of the street making parking almost impossible. Have to be a good driver to drive around the back streets but they do have a car park around the back if you can get to it. Good Lots of places to eat nearby, and only 10 mins walk to the beach Reasonable swimming pool facilities Cheap, so you get what you pay for

Just home after a week. The rooms are small and basic but have everything you need. It was clean. Small kitchenette with full size under counter fridge with small freezer compartment. Toasters, kettle, 2 ring hob. Not many sockets in the apartment. Our bathroom towels only got changed once in the whole week. They state every 3 days. They state they clean everyday. But all they do is empty the bins there is no cleaning involved. You can hire towels from reception €10 per towel deposit. They don’t want you changing them every day though. You can hire fans for €20 per week but they will question why you want them. My sister struggled to get a fan. They give you one pillow about 1cm thick and will also question you if you ask for more pillows. The patio doors also have external sliding shutters to help with the heat. Reception staff were a bit standoffish. Pool bar were helpful and nice. Food at the pool was good def recommend the frappe. Not enough sunbeds and umbrellas. Some of the umbrellas were broken. Plenty of space for more beds but there is seating at the bar so you can use these chairs. Pool starting to show signs of aging and could do with a touch up. Paint peeling and some of the grates are broken. The pool is also not opened until 10am so at least people don’t try and grab beds early. I think the beach is more popular. The pool bar only takes cash or you can set up a tab u see your room and pay later. The resort has cash points. The bar closes for food at 4.30pm and fully closes at 7.30pm. The hotel offers breakfast but no idea what it’s like. They also offer dinner but saw no advertising of this. The hotel is close to the main ***** and supermarkets.

First thing to do here once you’re dropped off on the Main Street from the airport transfer coach is to…………… Run because it seamed like first come first served with the rooms with air con whether or not it’s in your booking in a country in August that the day time temperature is 35c The pool is the best thing about the place but the deep end is 2.2 metres the pool bar serve food not the cheapest and draught beer local stuff called alpha is €5 per pint which is very expensive compared to the bars and restaurant’s near by we went out first night here and for two kids two adults including drinks it was around €40 so not to bad this place comes alive as expected at night time the Greek people are very polite nice I’d come back to this area but maybe do a bit more research on the hotel

Reading previous reviews of the hotel I was concerned but there was no need. We booked a family room with air con and were pleasantly surprised to have a good size apartment with two bathrooms and two balconies, so plenty of room. The maids came in the room daily to empty the bins and changed the bedding and towels every few days. A few reviews mentioned that the pool area suffers from wasp infestations. There were a few harmless honey bees (often confused with wasps) but we only saw one wasp in two weeks!! I also want to mention how helpful and friendly the pool bar staff were. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the food / drinks on offer were great value (3 euros for a toastie, 5 euros for a pizza etc). All in all we had a great family holiday which we felt was excellent value for money.

Don't waste your money here! No electric in kitchen due to hanging wires with no plug. Loose tiles in bathroom. Pool area was filthy and not cleaned as often as they said and wasp infestation around the pool which took most of our holiday to hang a few traps. Bar lady was just rude and even shouted because we put up an umbrella! Rep just said it's a 3rd world country what did I expect! No Aircon in rooms except on top floor so don't just expect to pay when you arrive like other hotels. If it was possible to rate this holiday with 0 stars that's what I would give. Totally awful holiday! I've stayed in many 3* hotels but none as bad as this.

For a hotel with 3 stars I wonder where these stars are justified. Or its 3 out of 10, then the amount of stars would be just right... This hotel does no longer live up to the minimal standard that a hotel has to uphold. The rooms we saw are a big letdown. Down to the very basics but very aged. To the point where you just would not let anybody stay there anymore, not in these days and age. Not all rooms have AC and in a country where the temperature can rise to near 40's or beyond, an AC should be a courtesy of the hotel to the guests. Not for some other room but with extra pay and don't let guest rent a fan for 20 euro's! It's making extra money at the expences of the guests in a unhospitable way. And thats another thing, the hospitality.... The staff in the lobby lacks it, its not like what you could and should expect in a highly hospitable country like Greece. Rude and unfriendly, thats whats shown here. The overall maintanance of the hotel is in a poor state. The walls, ceilings, outer walls, the wood outside, it all haven't seen some fresh paint in a pretty long while. The pool area is the best area of the hotel but swarming with bees and wasps, and the staff just ignores them. There is no kind of prevention or deterrance, just a lot of bees and wasps all around the edges of the pool. To top it off, the shower does not work, nor does the hotel attempt to fix it. I know very well that for these prices you normally ger what you pay for. I've been to Greece a lot of times and this was our third trip to Pefkochori. But never have I stayed in a hotel or appartment that had me wanting to leave. For the price range this hotel stays in, I would highly recommend anyone reading this to look further and find a hotel that is worth the money.
