There was so much more to Palermo than we had expected and luckily we were able to stay for 5 wonderful nights at Medusa B&B. The location is perfect for exploring as most of the historic sites, markets, restaurants and grocery stores are in walking distance. I loved my morning walks on the Via Marquada. Along the Via Marquada are historic cathedrals, plaza, minstrels performing everything from Bellini's operal to Elvis Presley at the Quattro Canti, the Teatro Massimo and delicious restaurants and cafes. There is so much to see and fortunately Alexandra, the proprietress, was extremely helpful and gracious with her time. We enjoyed our morning breakfast, coffee and meeting the other guests. Alexandra's place has an old world charm, clean and tidy. We would stay there again on our next trip to Palermo!
