We had seen the Watermill in passing last year when we stayed at another hotel further away from the airport and thought for our next holiday out of Glasgow we would try this place . It is easy to find and there is parking on site , however some is free and some is payable but please check with hotel . We stayed on a Saturday night and it was free .There is a restaurant and bar too and we chose to have the bar menu that evening . It was quick to check in and the lift and stairs right by reception . As the building is probably listed it doesn’t have double glazing and as just off a busy roundabout it can be a little noisy but settled later on . It didn’t bother us as we were up early the following morning so didn’t want to sleep too soundly and miss our flight. All the staff were pleasant and the room although a bit tired and in need of an update , it did the job for £58.50 booked online .Could do with a net across the window as only a curtain and we faced the front so as it got to dusk we had to close the curtain . Could do with another bedside table on the wall side of the bed. TV and tea and coffee as expected . Clean and a comfy bed. We chose the pea and ham soup for me as a starter and two fish and chips and it was well cooked and tasty and reasonably priced . Breakfast can be had but we left at 5am so no time for us. 12 mins drive to our parking and so no rush in the morning to get to the airport. We are back in May for our next holiday. Thanks guys for a lovely stay.

We chose to stay again before we flew to Turkey as it reasonably priced most of the time and free parking if you land lucky and get parked near the hotel wall. Bar and restaurant onsite so no need to go out once there. Polite receptionist and she was leaving for the day not long after we arrived so we got her parking space. Paid a £1 for the first hr before she left as the rest of the parking is owned by the local council we believe. It is a tiny lift but probably listed building so cant do much. Yes it is hard worn but all we want is a bed and a shower some drinks and something to eat and near the parking for the airport and it fits all of these things. Different room this time. Room was comfy enough and bedding clean enough and the shower room better size this time. Tea and coffee as one would expect and tv . We find the bar food ample for what we require the night before a flight and the drink prices reasonable too . All in all its fine. Bar staff were pleasant enough

Didn't make it past the entrance, and will never try again. Doorman is a disgusting person, who refused basic humanity to someone in need. And if they can't even do that, says all anyone needs to know about their hospitality.

Had a lovely time there and the staff were great especially Reene who went the extra mile making out couples get away more special. Had a lovely dinner and a beautiful selection of wine and beers. Thanks again

This hotel really is the pits. If you're with a coach party the lift will only take 2 people with 2 suitcases. The river behind is very noisy as is the traffic in front. Our room window panes were dirty and held together by paint and at one place the wood was rotted completely through. The furniture was very old, the carpet too, The modern WC wouldn't flush properly. As regards our meal, 8 of our party (our of 20) had to ask for steak knives to cut the pork steak - without success. Hard, chewy, pink in the middle and indigestable. Most of the pork got left. The WiFi reminded me of the old dial-up modems - just 1 MB speed. We will never, ever, use this hotel again. Oh, and our coach driver had to pay for parking - Pay and Display machine.

For what you pay, this is very good value for money. It could do with an injection of funds to spruce it up - it all looks tired, but it's clean, the staff are kind and friendly, and the breakfast was extremely good. I think travellers should support this hotel - it needs custom to keep it going. The building itself, just like a lot of Paisley, is rich in history and these valuable assets should be preserved. We were blown away with how beautiful Paisley is - just such a shame that many shops have closed and it's not the buzzing town that it should be.

We arrived for a night stop, found that parking is free to blue badge holders or from 6pm-8am daily, small reception area with friendly staff who found our booking and checked us in. We were in room 102 which overlooked the car park. The room was clean and tidy with twin beds and en-suite bathroom. Shower water pressure was good but room was airless even with window open. As our room was above the entrance you could hear people talking late at night. Initially the water pressure to the toilet took quite a while before we could flush the toilet. The lift to all floor situated at reception was good. Ideal if you have a disability. The free breakfast with a room rate of £56 was very nice as were the staff. We enjoyed our stay and it served a purpose. The food in the miller lounge was excellent and well priced.

Booked a night here, had to change date because of Covid. Was told just to call anytime to rebook. When I called, was told that as it was over 3 months before, I couldn’t. I asked to contact a manager to appeal. Was given email details. Emailed, no response. I emailed asking how to complain, no response. Have stayed here dozens of times over the past 30 years. Never again.
