What a fantastic little hotel run by Allan and Trish. Location absolutely perfect for day trips and near by dinning. Breakfast fit for a King with friendly banter from Allan. They are the perfect hosts and make you feel truly welcome. Definitely recommended.

We stayed as a big multigenerational family of 6 in 3 rooms and it was perfect. Alan, Trish and Gemma, the hoteliers, were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms have everything you need and expect. It’s the amazing family running this hotel that makes it so special. That and the breakfast. It’s in an excellent location with great views from the front and good parking. There is also a little bar that Alan opens in the evening which was a very good facility and meant we were able to have other family members join us. Which was lovely. (Also adore its very retro feel) We were all very happy with our week at the cherry tree and would definitely come back.

First time stay at the Cherry Tree Hotel, Alan, Emma, Trish are great host making you feel welcome, nothing to much trouble, stayed in ground floor sea view room no2, never seen such a huge bed in room, great breakfast all local good quality bacon, sausage, egg, really enjoyed 4 night break, would recommend 100%. Will come back again. Malcolm& Juliet.

Alan, Trish and Gemma were amazing hosts nothing was too much trouble.. Bed super comfy, room clean and tidy, would definitely recommend and hopefully return next year. Free parking, TV, and tea/coffee facilities in room. Breakfast amazing and very filling lol ! Thank you so very much for making our stay super special xx

Nice location, Trish Allan and Emma Lovely people.Always had time for their guests,rooms spotless .love the way your table was numbered ,stops the selfish getting the best seats.??Breakfast not huge but enough to get us through the day and a VERY big choice as well ,Nothing negative to say and we will be back next year for certain,Cam and Jim

Nice friendly atmosphere from the owners. The hotel is based opposite the main sea front and close to local amenities. The room we stayed in was comfortable and had the basic facilities we needed. One suggestion would be to check water temperature of the shower in room 5, this was very hot, but did not impact our stay. Breakfast was lovely and we were surprised this was not an extra but was in with the main room price Great Quality !. We have never visited Paignton before but certainly will again and will look to see if the cherry tree has vacancies.

A lovely B&B so friendly and welcoming have everything you could possibly need right near seafront close to everything. We went for a long weekend me my husband and 3 children 11/5/6 months and when we asked for some washing up liquid so we could clean babies bottles before going in cold steriliser they even offered to wash them up for us but we refused and just asked for a pot of washing up liquid which they got straight away for us. So accommodating and we can’t wait to go back for a visit in the summer holidays.
