1 or 3 Bedroom Apartment with Full Kitchen

Mostly a good experience at this little historic motel: Lots of space, with a full kitchen, living room/dining room, and three bedrooms. Giant TV in the living room. Air conditioning worked great, especially since it was so hot outside. Easy to walk to several restaurants. Close to grocery stores and other shopping in Page. Quiet street. Bathroom is dated but functional. It's not fancy, but you are also not paying fancy prices. However, a few things made our stay less than 5 stars: There's an extra $30+tax charge to use the laundry machine for one day. We paid the fee since we desperately needed to do laundry and didn't feel like schlepping to a laundromat. The management states that the laundry is mostly for their staff to use, which is fine, but it's also included on the floor plans on *********** so we assumed it would be available for our use. The apartment smelled like fish when we arrived, so we had to air out the place for a few days before it didn't smell fishy when we walked in. Back patio area was nice but didn't have any shade so we couldn't use it during the 100*+ days.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment for 3 nights of relaxing during a hectic 3 weeks of travel. It was perfect for spreading out and reorganizing all Our assorted luggage, watching tv and making some homecooked Meals. Bed was very comfortable. It is a historic building so there is wear around the edges but it was super clean and well appointed. The price was great. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This hostel was uniquely comfy and apropos to our visit to Page, AZ and its surroundings. Having the opportunity to regularly stay over many accommodations across and occasionally outside the country, and not a professional hotel reviewer by any means, and not a regular business traveler - but as a primarily pleasure and needs wanderer, I have developed as what I believe is my most concise method for scoring the worthiness of each hotel visited in accordance to personal criteria. My measures are as follows and the results are: 1) ease of access to and from public or private ground transportation [Score:5]; 2) convenient and safe parking [Score:5]; 3) access, accuracy and convenience of check in and check out [Score:5]; 4) atmosphere, ambience, public facilities, lounging areas and access to an office center and Wi-Fi access [Score:4]; 5) overall customer service - including but not limited to Hospitality, Support Services, Concierge knowledge, communication, attitude and demeanor of staff [Score:3]; 6) quality, cleanliness, value, convenience, amenities (i.e., ironing board, iron, TV, charging access, phone, et.al.) and comfort of rooms, beds, room safe and/or valet services [Score:4]; Taking all the aforementioned categories in a scale of 1 star to 5 stars with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best a hotel can be! This hotel rates a: 3.6. Most positive point(s) at this hotel is/are: how close to everything we wanted to visit; it’s ease if access from main road; overall quiet ambience and outdoor lounging area. Most negative points found here is: on the positive side so much as to not worth mentioning. My price to value to overall assessment: VERY, VERY Good!

We had mixed feelings about this place. Check in was prompt & easy. The apartments are clean & plenty of room to spread out. The backyard patio area is very nice & relaxing. The street that the hotel is on is a little sketchy. We did not feel this was a very safe location.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!! They canceled our reservation without explanation or notification, and we were almost stranded. Thankfully the Clarion Inn down the block had availability and they saved us. But they said THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!! Guests try to go to Desert Canyon, find their reservation unexpectedly canceled, and find solace with them. I had a printed out confirmation, confirmation number and all, but they said since I hadn’t paid yet it was canceled with no notification. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels, including on this same trip, and it’s not uncommon to pay on checkin. Especially when it DIDN’T TELL ME TO PAY UPFRONT. Of course if it had asked for my info, I would have paid. I had a confirmation. 99/100x that means it’s booked. Save yourself the trouble and book at a real hotel. Don’t risk having to sleep in your car, if you can’t get another hotel when this falls through. None-cancelation flaws that Desert Canyon also has: -They say their desk is manned from 4-7pm but the guy was leaving at 6pm. Clarion said that they’ve had guests who tried to reach the Desert Canyon front desk for hours (in person and by phone) but nobody answers so they have to seek alternative accommodations. -The windows of the apartments were taped up, like it’s under construction or something?

My husband stayed 3 nights in a 1 Bedroom. The unit was freshly painted with cheerful yellow cabinets and a nice selection of books in the hallway. There is plenty of room in the bedroom, living area, and full kitchen. The bed and bedding seem brand new and was super comfortable. We loved the common backyard area with plenty of chairs, two tables, ramada and grills. it was so comfortable taking our morning coffee in the back, going out for the day, and then having wine out back again before going out for dinner. We highly recommend!

Fantastic place to regroup after a few days camping in the backcountry. Patio area out back with hoses to clean off/dry your kit and unlimited use of washing machines between 4p and 9p for $20. We had a three bedroom, one bath unit with a full kitchen and living area. Super comfy beds. Highly recommended.
