This is a hotel recommended by locals in Italy. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Padua. The decoration style is very unique and the service is really good.

This is a perfectly located very nice older hotel tucked away in the heart of Padova. It was immaculate, and my bed was very comfortable. I really appreciated the complete soundproofing from street noise when I closed the shutters and windows. The breakfast room is comfortable and welcoming, and serves a lovely variety of things, including very good rolls and some delicious Italian breakfast cakes. The tiny hotel restaurant is catered by the restaurant just a few doors away, which has excellent and interesting food. I would definitely stay here again.

Ho trovato nel Toscanelli il lusso della semplicità e della bellezza. Situato nel cuore di Padova l'hotel 4 stelle gestito dalla storica famiglia in posizione strategica nel ghetto è un connubio di savoir faire di lunga data ed efficienza contemporanea. Le camere luminose ,ampie e arredate con gusto con il boiler per le tisane e bottiglie d'acqua offerte all'arrivo.La colazione è è curata e provvista di ogni leccornia. Io ho un problema di salute e mi sono venuti incontro con proposte ad hoc senza spese aggiuntive.Al mattino trovavo le mie verdure fresche e i dolciumi speciali. Grazie alla signora Antonella splendida cuoca che prepara dolci artigianali e verdure al forno incantevoli e al signor Flavio. Grazie a Martina alla reception e al guardiano di notte affabile e cortesissimo. Nella piccola hall è sempre presente il caffè e le ghiotte gelatine ad accogliere il visitatore.Piccoli indispensabili particolari che fanno la differenza. Tornerò sicuramente perchè mio padre è Padovano e questo viaggio è stato un piacevole ritorno alle origini.

Ci sono stato ad agosto per lavoro. Camera standard inguardabile (piccola, lato interno e mobilio osceno). Visto che hotel era mezzo vuoto ho chiesto di cambiare camera e anziché spostarmi mi hanno offerto una camera confort ma con aumento di prezzo. Ho accettato ma non si possono lucrare così 30 miseri euro. Per il resto colazione buona e perfetta collocazione nel centro storico.

There was no welcome when we arrived neither were we asked how our stay was at the end. In fact we found the reception quite standoffish apart from a young man (see below) The hotel is tired, we booked a mid range room. A lot of the room was a corridor so completely wasted space. The rollers in the shower screen had come out of the guide, the toilet was constantly running water and there was a strange mark on the toilet seat and the bathroom fittings were definitely not four star standard. We were given one complimentary bottle of water between two of us and one extra pillow between of us for a two night stay. None of the bathroom lotions were replenished after the first night. Everything seemed to have an extra price attached to it which has been complimentary in similar hotels My husband was feeling very ill and asked if he could have a glass of tap water at the bar and was refused. He was told he had to pay for water. (The previous hotel gave a glass of tap water with every drink at the bar so it wouldn’t have been an unreasonable request) Whilst we were in our room at 9am on a Saturday morning there was loud intermittent power drilling in the hotel on and off for about an hour. We felt this was a totally inappropriate time to be doing that sort of work then. There was one positive point,a young man on the desk was very helpful when we asked for directions to the nearest pharmacy. We loved Padova and would highly recommend a stay there just not at this hotel
