This is the worst place I have stayed in during my ten days in the UK, a must stay. First of all, this is not a hotel at all, not even a B&B. It is a purely self-service B&B where you are given a password to open the door yourself. The most important thing is that the landlord’s phone number on the door cannot be reached at all. If you have any questions, no one will help you. To solve the problem, even Ctrip’s customer service has been unable to contact the landlord. In the end, the landlord was contacted through the mobile phone of the cleaner who was cleaning the house. It was quite speechless. Secondly, the room has been left unattended. After I made the reservation, it sent me a password. When I pushed the door in, I found that the previous passenger’s luggage was still in the room. I had the password and others also had the password. In this case, the safety of both my personal and property matters was compromised. There is no guarantee. Finally, this hotel is very remote. Although it says it is one kilometer away from the train station, buses and Uber cannot go there because the road to the train station is under construction, so I can only walk one kilometer with my suitcase. Facilities: The stairs are very narrow, there is no elevator, it is very troublesome to carry luggage, there is no service staff to help you, you have to rely on yourself. Don't stay here if you have big luggage. I took a shower at night and found that the bathroom light was broken and I couldn't find anyone to fix it. Hygiene: very poor. Environment: very poor. Service: Very poor, there are no waiters, and the landlord's phone has never been able to be reached.

This was the worst accommodation experience I had on this trip. Let’s talk about the good things first: the bed is relatively large and comfortable, the bathroom is large, and the public kitchen provides necessary supplies. The bad: 1. It is at the back of the train station, far away from the city center. Due to the road construction near the train station, there is no bus to the city center, so you have to walk and the transportation is inconvenient; 2. Don't be fooled by the townhouses. Just an ordinary residence. The room is very small, and there is basically no room after opening the two suitcases. 3. The soundproofing of the room was so bad that the sounds of people walking and talking upstairs could be heard clearly until midnight. Alas😮💨

The hygiene is good, the environment is decent, but the facilities are generally not worth the money. The sound of footsteps upstairs, going up and down the stairs, doors opening and closing could be heard loudly. Not recommended for more than 700 yuan a night.

There should be a doormat in the bathroom

差得很,不要來,房間沒打掃。 異味很大。 浪費時間。 找客服要找三個小時。 真的不要來。 避雷。 真的避雷呀。 差。 差。 差。 總之就是很差很差很差。

On the down side - Grungy building overall, lots of scuffing, carpet stains in the halls/stairs, etc. bits of trash also around the place, cleaning of common areas seemed sporadic at best. Wifi password on sheet in rooms was incorrect in most cases, we had to get help from fellow guests (password was default jumble of letters and numbers, some capitalized, some not, but many rooms had instructions that put ALL the letters in caps). PLUS, all the wifi instructions failed to give the name of the network which, again, was a default meaningless jumble of letters and numbers so again we needed the help of fellow guests to figure it out. Walls and floors are wafer thin, so you get to hear your co-guests quite well. Door to patio from kitchen did not shut, much less lock that struck me as a concerning safety issue. Numbers on front door to call for assistance are meaningless; one wouldn't connect, the other went to voicemail and voicemail was never returned. Drain in our shower was clogged and, oh yeah, no point trying to call the folks listed on the front door, they ain't gonna answer. Rat trap in patio seemed telling, but all cities have rats so make of that what you wish. On top of it all, cell coverage for just about any service is non-existent, why I don't know. On the up side - the room was clean and the bed was fine.

Stayed one night with friends. You get an entry code for the front door and one for your room , as far as I could see no one lived on site apart from the guests. It was all clean and tidy, there is a kitchen on the ground floor that you can use, it is well supplied with tea and coffee ( dolce gusto machine and pods) but no drink making equipment in your room. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the kitchen but didn't see anyone else use it while we were there. We had room 6 on the top floor, fairly quiet, well presented and spacious. We had asked for it to be set up with 3 adult sized beds but arrived to a king size , single bed and very bouncy fold out child bed, we split the king size in to two singles and had 3 very comfy beds. We all had a good night's sleep. Room 3 could be very noisy as it's door opens into the kitchen and room 1 and 2 are right next to the front door but when you book you can see which room you are booking. 4 and 5 were on the 1st floor with 6 on the second, narrow staircase to 6 of you have big bulky luggage. It was good value and being able to cook for ourselves meant we could cater for dietary needs and keep the cost down. It's 10 to 15 minutes walk from the railway station, there is a waitrose almost opposite for self catering.

Myself and my husband stayed here at botley townhouse recently and I must say there is not a bad thing I can say about the experience! Beautiful clean rooms, fairly priced, great location and could not ask for anything more! We shall definitely be returning!
