First time staying here and did so based on reviews. It didn’t disappoint. Stayed 3 nights. Our room was clean and comfortable. Beds and bedding are nice. The hotel staff are super helpful and friendly. Good location. Fire pit and s’mores at night are a nice touch. Reasonable prices. Would stay here again.

We were very pleased with our stay at Timber Ridge. The people managing the reception area were invariably warm, friendly, and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor but we heard only faint muffled footsteps from above - no TV, no voices, nothing disturbing at all. Good beds. Very clean. That covers the basic three C's: clean, cwiet, and comfortable. We will return for sure.

This was an excellent hotel in Ouray, and I highly recommend it. I stayed in the loft room, but also had a chance to stay a night in one of their queen bed rooms. Both rooms were well appointed, clean, and the staff (including the owner, Brian) were all great. I loved the nightly lighting of the fire ring at 6:00pm and the fire pit area complete with gas grills available for cooking. I also appreciated the water in the front office area as well as the ice machine to fill up my Hydroflask each day. The lodge is connected to a campground with an excellent breakfast restaurant and to the riverwalk which I used after dinner one night for a stroll. I would stay here again.

Great little lodge on the outskirts of town. Front desk and owners are helpful and kind. Stayed here a year and a half ago by myself and this time was there with my wife and 3 kids. We were there for 4 nights and I will be back. I walked along the river every morning, and the hot springs are right next door. Beautiful fire pit with smores and bar b qs out back which was a super nice touch. All and all Highly reccomend for a comfortable and nice stay when in this beautiful area.

Located in the outskirts of this tiny town, it is easy to find directly on the main road. Manager at the front desk was kindly and very helpful. We had the "Loft" room for somewhat easy access. It was spacious, with a kitchenette and old furniture. No windows, just a tiny skylight. No phone, no food, no pets. Limited parking. Fine for a night's stay. No free breakfast here, but coffee and teas.

The absolute best location for not only epic hiking, off roading and climbing but also walking distance to the Ouray hot springs and quaint downtown. The rooms were clean, the beds are super comfy and the shower was so great after long day adventures! They have free coffee in the lobby as well as offer free s’mores kits to use by their campfire! The staff is super friendly and helpful as well as the rates can’t be beat for this area. Ouray is an amazing YEAR ROUND mountain town and should be on everyone’s list.

We have been staying here in summer & fall for the last 4 years & just finished booking first summer 2024. Julie & Brian always have great recommendations for all the things you can do locally. We are Jeepers, so we love staying where we have a great place to start our San Juan adventures. Access to the amazing trails is a quick & scenic drive. The rooms are spacious and comfy and the perfect walking distance to town, hot springs & the river. It never fails that we find the best folks to talk with around the campfire as well! It is truly our home away from home 🥰

This is not a new hotel nor is it in the middle of downtown. The scenery outside our room was not inviitng. (But, definitely ask for a room in the back.) But, it was great anyway. The room was huge with lots of space for everyone's stuff. No wondering where to put your cosmetics. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The book in the room was very clear and well organized. In fact, the whole place was well organized. They offered water and rags to wash your car. Also a fire ring at night with free S'mores for the making. There is a beautiful river behind the hotel that is a nice place for a walk while you are waiting for everyone in your party to be ready. You can easily walk to town along this river.

I stayed in the King Room. It was well appointed and extremely clean. The A/C kept the room cool. I didn’t spend much time in my room but did enjoy DirectTV before bed. The grounds and outdoors were also well maintained. The location was great. There is a trail along the river that will lead you into town. Julie was very friendly and accommodating. She let me check in 30 mins early because someone was picking me up at 3 for a wedding rehearsal. She even took pictures of us with Mt. Adams in the background and on a bridge over the river. I would definitely stay here again.
