Beautiful serene setting to unwind and relax. Love the green grass and river right in front of the cottage to relax in. Lots of animals that visit and keep you company. Owners are very welcoming and friendly. We've been 3 times now and will hopefully visit again soon. Plenty of activities close by to explore.

I don't think many people in oudtshoorn knows about Cango Retreat,but I highly recommend it.Service was great,never a dull moment because there is more than enough to keep you busy and explore.This was my first time but definitely not the last.

Tranquil paradise
We absolutely loved staying here. We stayed in the love room and it was so peaceful. Grounds are stunning and we loved all the friendly animals. Wonderful view of the mountain and river and the braii was delicious.

We had the most outstanding stay. The rooms we're clean and beds comfortable. The staff we're friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the jacuzzi under the stars🛁. Well entertaint with wifi/Netflix. Real treat for the whole family 🦚🤫

Great location and close proximity to the Caves, Animal World and Ostrich Farms. Not too far from the town also. River flowing thru the property is super cool and kids loved playing in it....great manicured garden and lovely pets (dogs / cats / meerkat / geese / macaws / peacocks) to keep the kids entertained.

The place had so much space to play and take short walks when you need fresh air. Owner are friendly and helpful. My kids loved the pets and made friends. We can wait to book for next year. The water was low in the dam but the pools did the Job.
