It is said to be a five-star hotel, but the facilities are a bit outdated, the WiFi in the rooms is spotty, and the breakfast is the simplest in my entire trip. I wonder if it is because there are few guests. There were a lot of staff, but there were still bird poop on the pool and chairs. The room fee of more than 2,000 per night is not worth it.

We were very nicely accommodated in this hotel. The hotel has a beautiful architecture, a great swimming pool and all the personnel are very friendly. What is great about this hotel is that they can provide in drivers and guides to take you around the area. This hotel has a great service-oriented mentality. All the staff were focused on providing in the best possible experience. I truly recommend this hotel !

Arrived late afternoon and were usher into a beautiful oasis. Stunning pool and grounds after a swim we looked forward to nice meal on the patio. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best and quite pricey. Otherwise an amazing stay. Rooms were beautifully appointed.

We were delighted looking at the website after our private tour company said this would be our accommodation The good: Modern rooms, nice pool area, a bar if you partake, more than one food option on site. Decent WiFi The bad: English - out of the 5 Riads and hotels we’ve stayed at thus far, this hotel has the least amount of English spoken by staff, including the front desk. It seems like their primary is French but if catering to all tourists, this seems off given other more secluded and smaller hotels we stayed at having better communication Food - we had the dinner buffet included. I can’t speak for the other restaurants, but most of the food was barely edible. Worst hotel dinner we had, although appreciate a change from Moroccan cuisine. Yes it’s “international” but all dishes were of poor quality. Drinks - very overpriced. I guess that goes along with the rate. At these prices, I’ll stick with the four seasons. All in all, I do not think the prices are commensurate with the quality of product and service

Nous sommes venus diner uniquement. Franchement le cadre est tres agreable, le service aussi mais nous ne pouvons pas dire que la qualite de la nourriture en vaut le prix. D'autres palaces, hotels ou restaurants "haut de gammes" en valent davantage le gout selon nous. Le personnel a ete tres bien cependant!

Ourzazate is a nice location from where you can plan lots of trips. The Berbère palace is in an ideal location. Once maybe a grand hotel, it’s in need of renovation. The entire hotel is packed with movie sets and pictures on the walls of famous actors who stayed and filmed at the Atlas Studios (which is really interesting to visit). The interior is all mixed with different styles, normally that’s not my taste but it has its charme here. The pool is beautiful and has a very good size. Half of the sun loungers around the pool fall apart and are very old. Need immediate replacement. Try the pizza with anchovies at the lounge bar, it’s very tasty. One very big point of improvement is the level of English that staff speaks, especially at reception which is the most important place in the hotel where people should understand you. I had the feeling that everywhere else in the hotel they speak better English than at reception. Staff is very sweet and tries to accommodate your wishes. A good place to go if not the only real option when you are in Ourzazate, but they really need to keep up the looks and keep up the maintenance. Just as a side note, be prepared to pay €23 for a gin & tonic and €10 for a beer

Conosco il Berbère Palace da molto tempo e in passato la sua tipicità locale e le prestazioni erano assolutamente compatibili con il prezzo. Da un po’ di tempo è stato ristrutturato secondo schemi del tutto inspiegabili, soprattutto per chi lo ha conosciuto prima, profondamente deludente. Le stanze hanno degli arredamenti freddi che stridono fortemente con il contesto. Trovo sia incomprensibile la mancanza di riferimenti con la cultura locale. Il colpevole architetto, autore delle ristrutturazioni, non ha tenuto in considerazione alcune esigenze basiche dell’ospite, ad esempio non esiste nessun appiglio per accappatoio o telo da bagno. Per specchiarsi bisogna arrampicarsi perché l’altezza a cui sono stati posti gli specchi ti consente di vedere solo il viso, e comunque troppo distanti per truccarsi (nel caso di una donna come me), gli specchi del bagno sono anche gli unici in tutta la stanza per cui non si può nemmeno vestirsi specchiandosi, le scale per raggiungere le stanze al piano di sopra sono anguste e pericolose. Si aggiunga anche che la qualità della ristorazione è notevolmente peggiorata sia nell’offerta culinaria proposta sia nel costo (decisamente molto alto). Con dispiacere non ci tornerò più.
