"We had an amazing stay near the beach, and it was exactly what we were looking for! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the family and their daughter, who spoke excellent English. The room was ready, and we were able to check in immediately. It was clean, featured a nice fridge, and offered a stunning view of their beautiful garden. The beach was only a 15-minute bike ride away, and we were able to borrow bikes from them. The owner even ensured our reservation at a local restaurant. To top it all off, we enjoyed a very tasty breakfast on our balcony, complete with fresh fruits, eggs, pastries, and more. I would definitely recommend this place!"

"Great little hotel with wonderful staff in a good location at the Marina end of Otranto town. 2 minute walk to the castle & onward into the historical centre. Everything they do at Corte di Nettuno, they do well. Staff are very welcoming, kind, & professional. Breakfast is very high quality with a lovely selection for all tastes. Bathrooms & bedrooms well equipped, very comfortable bed & pillows & good bed linen. The hotel is in a lovely building combining old & new details - beautiful traditional local stone work with elegant modern details. The courtyard garden is very attractively laid out, with beautiful sea-themed ironwork, modern, comfortable seating & lovely planting. Easy walk to the town beaches but the hotel also offer a free shuttle to lidos about 10km away which is fun. Roof top terrace with sun loungers & showers is an excellent facility. Hotel is spotlessly clean with good air conditioning and boy did we need it during a heatwave. The hotel has a nautical theme with a huge array of antique maritime objects and this is carried through creatively in the detail throughout. Our thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable, particularly Christian, Paola & Romina. We hope to see you again !"

"The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the beach and within walking distance of the town center, which made it easy and pleasant to explore the area. There is also good availability of parking, which is very convenient. However, I did not have a good experience during the night. The smoke detector was placed directly above the bed, with a blinking green LED light every few seconds. This made it extremely difficult to rest. To be able to sleep, I had to move the mattress out of the bedroom and place it in the corridor near the bathroom to get away from the light, which is clearly not acceptable in a hotel environment. This is something that should be reconsidered, either by adjusting the placement or reducing the impact of the light. Overall, while the location is a strong point, this issue significantly affected my stay."

"The hotel is located about 1.5 km from the town center. The hotel is well-maintained. It has a nice pool and plenty of loungers. The rooms are fine. The food (dinner) is good, surprisingly good. Breakfast is average, nothing special. There's no kiosk on site (drinks have to be carried uphill from the town in the heat or purchased at the hotel bar). There's a shuttle bus (for a fee) to the beach. There's no welcome drink in the room."

"WARNING: Avoid this hotel they are extremely unprofessional and disorganised. We had a booking with the hotel in July 2026 which we had fully prepaid in November 2025 . They recently canceled our booking which is in 4 weeks with no explanation or warning. They have tried to tell us we cancelled, which we 100% did not , we have asked for them to show us the cancellation request and of course they cannot. We reached out to them immediately as soon as we received the cxl email and over the last 5 days to try to find out what was going on but the hotel refused to speak to us about the situation and referred us to their private reservations company that does their reservations . They seem totally uncaring, disorganised and seems in complete chaos, they kept telling us just wait 24 hours for 5 days now. They promised to book us into a like accommodation in same area but have not done this and now not responding to our calls / messages. Obviously most accommodation is completely booked out in the middle of July . It has been extremely stressful situation as happed the day before we flew out, we are very disappointed with both the hotel and their out sourced reservation team , They held our funds for 7 months in their own bank account prior to the cancellation and yet still did not help or assist or take responsibility . We travel often and have never had such a bad experience with a hotel . We would not want this to happen to others so felt we had to share our awful experience and suggest you definitely avoid this Masseria and look elsewhere and book other accommodation in the area ."

"We were 100% happy with our choice for holidays at "Sole del Mediterráneo": Helpful and kind owners, beautiful arrangement of rooms and outdoor spaces, professional care of the cleaning and an exceptional quality and variety of the breakfast! We definitely recommend it if you look for place for relaxation and perfect position to explore Otranto, Lecce and the amazing Adriatic coast of southern Salento. A bunch of good places for dinner around with local wines and dishes. We spent few nights in other accomodations in Puglia but never found the high standards and quality of treatment of the guests that " Sole del Mediterráneo" offers. "We stayed in this mass for a week, and despite being the August centre, we spent it in total relaxation. The hotel is located in a more isolated parallel road, near the center of Otranto and the beaches of Alimini and the Bay of Turks, but it is a great parking and breakfast with a wide selection of cakes and sweets and very friendly staff. The rooms are a little small, unique bad, with water in the shower, but every morning they were cleaned and switched towels. Recommended!"

"A fabulous quirky marine themed hotel with secure parking just 10minutes walk from the old vibrant town of Otranto that had lots of restaurants, a few bars, ice cream shops etc and a variety of sunbathing spots. The staff were friendly and polite particularly Christian and Antonio providing excellent service at breakfast every day. The rooms were of a very high standard and my daughter and her friend enjoyed the roof top sun bathing terrace and showers. Highly recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in this area."
