This hotel is a destination by itself! The grounds were beautiful, and the rooms were comfortable. We appreciated the hot water bottle tucked into bed at night to warm to warm the bed. The onsite restaurant was great and service was excellent. Our kids really enjoyed the llamas and the playground here.

Stayed one night, before going into Otavalo. Loved it! Great food, staff, location. Right on the lake overlooking the volcano, this is a beautiful spot. The food was very good and the atmosphere charming. They have llamas too!

This wonderful site is a piece of heaven, literally on the shore of the Lago san Pablo, a beautiful small lake with a stunning view of the imbabura volcano (inactive, don’t worry). I enjoyed sitting at the balcony of my room in one the chalets, breathing the fresh clean air and watching the huge mountain play hide and seek with the clouds while listening to the deep silence, perturbed only by occasional quacks of the ducks in the lake. The rooms are cosy and stylish, the staff is very cooperative and the restaurant, on the water, serves tasty dishes. I warmly recommend the place to couples and families.
