On the way back from receiving the second corona vaccination at ”My Dome Osaka”, I stayed using ”Summer Toku !! ◆ Summer Limited ◆ Breakfast Plan”. Although the name was changed from Shanxi Welfare Memorial Hall to Ampeel Hotel Osaka in February 2020, the Shanxi Welfare Memorial Hall operates it. The restaurant on the first floor felt higher than the usual business hotel and had a good impression. Perhaps because it was the time of the spread of the new corona infection, I had a relaxing breakfast with the restaurant as if it were rented out without seeing the guests. It is a hotel that I wanted to use again if I had the opportunity.

We got a great deal with Trip and stayed on the Club floor for 2 nights. The hotel entrance was a bit hard to find when you are walking through the mall. Checked in at the Club floor and it was very efficient. Room was very spacious and very clean. Club floor experience was excellent with breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. We had particularly good experience with the afternoon cocktails as they made lots of different ones for us that was not the standard menu.

I choose this guest house because its the few place that offer ”futon” bed, because I really want to experience it, the staff was really friendly, there are many events, like the 'gather and talk all you can eat Takoyaki events'm the staff is super friendly. I went with my mom and brother, my mom love the atmosphere too. We defiantly will come back!

Location, facility, hospitality, food and etc everything was so perfect! Especially a man named Don from the bell desk, he was so kind. He carried my luggage to the bus stop and helped me with purchasing bus tickets to the airport. I would definitely visit Hilton if I have a chance to visit Osaka again.

My wife and I each had a room as we were traveling with friends. As Diamond, one of the rooms was upgraded to a huge suite, and the other to a castle view. The front desk and lounge staff were both extremely helpful. Every request was attended to promptly and with a positive attitude. Hotel is easy walking distance from a subway line. The lounge offerings are good, and the views up there are great. We loved hanging out there after our day as it was quite hot outside. Would definitely stay again as it is a good value.

This is not the first time we stay at Karaksa joint. After our previous stay at Karaksa Saporro, we decided to try in Osaka. If you take exit 4 from Shin-Osaka Station, you can take a 3 minute walk to Karaksa Shin Osaka Tower Hotel. Reception is at 2nd floor, it was quick service and easy. We reserved 2 bed and 3 bed , total of 2 rooms connecting. It was convenient for party of 5 travelers. The amenities including electric converter was provided in the room. What we like about Karaksa is the bed, bathroom, and room is very confortable. English translated system on TV, AC and Laundry as well. 4 laundry machines with coins in located at 4th floor. Very convenient. During the rainy days, towels are provided at the entrance for free. You can also monitor the status of the laundry machine as well. What a service, we love it We love staying at this hotel, definitely recomended for family stay.

Good location, just less than 10min walk away from the main street of shinsaibashi. Affordable hotel breakfast and there is free drinks everyday that can refill

The hotel was clean and tidy. It is spotless and far exceeds expectations. The room is compact and warmly decorated. It has all kinds of facilities such as bathroom, shower room and kitchen. It is very convenient. It is especially suitable for all kinds of independent travelers. It is especially close to the Japan Transportation Bureau. It is on a first-come-first-served basis near water and buildings. The transportation is extremely convenient. I've stayed at hostels before, and had a great experience till now. It's a shame to say I cancelled my stay at this hostel. Unfortunately, it fell below expectations and did not match the excellent reviews I saw online. We booked a non-smoking room, only for us to smell the smoke lingering in the room from the other guests. My father and mother, both very sensitive to the smell, had trouble sleeping and continually coughed throughout the night. And even though the hotel acknowledged this issue, they did nothing to solve it. Additionally, the room smelled like damp sweat. Even though we were supposed to be given a ”private” room, we only had a little partition separating us from the rest of the dormitory, making us feeling ill at ease when they admitted in their signs of common cases of theft in the hostel. Furthermore, their laundry facilities were absolutely terrible. We tried using the washing/drying machines, but after attempting 4 cycles of drying, the clothes were nearly as wet as when they went in. A staff member acknowledged this as an issue that needed to be fixed when I approached him, but was reluctant to do anything beyond saying he should propose for it to be put out of service so it could be fixed. We left two days in of our four night stay because the conditions grew to be unbearable. I left as soon as my family and I could find another place to stay. The staff apologized but did nothing about our negative experience. I would absolutely never recommend this hostel. There are far better places to stay in Osaka for a better price, better comfort, and better service.
