Osage Village Inn

Not impressed. Nothing was stocked like toilet paper. No soap,shampoo and conditioner. Not that we use some of those but some people do. Stains on the comforter. The room smelled musty and like someone had previously smoked in there. Bed uhhh no. Outside smelled heavy of ****. Won’t go back

I've traveled extensively for my job, and I've NEVER had an experience like this. I'm not sure what is more concerning. The fact they gave me keys to an occupied room, or their lack of concern for their egregious mistake. I booked a king room with a jetted tub. The occupied room I walked into had a king bed with a BIG jetted tub, but they put me in a room with 2 queen beds and a standard size jetted tub. There were no blankets on the bed, and it took them over an hour to get them to us. The room was dark and dank and had cobwebs in several places. Quality of the bedding was poor, but the bed itself was comfortable. I will never return, and I now feel obligated to leave this review on every site possible. NO ONE who wants to feel safe should stay at this hotel. I would NOT recommend this place to single women, families, or elderly/handicapped people.

This place is very antiquated. Rooms are clean and quiet buts that is about all. They still use keys. Door knob was extremely loose. Hallway air conditioner did not work. Bed was very uncomfortable. They do not have the rolls etc that's on their web site. Very limited things in room. But has a huge Jacuzzi inside next to bed. Awful placement. Outlets need replacing. Sparse soaps etc. Never stay there again. No elevator. Parking is miserable.

Chose the place specifically because it had a pool. Arriving a little after 4pm, I found the small pool and pool deck area absolutely jammed with a large party of several families apparently all traveling together. There wasn't room for even one more person unless you just wanted to stand in the corner of the pool and be jostled. I returned to my room and waited. After all, other guests have the right to be there. However, in clear violation of the posted rules, they had brought several coolers full of beer and food and were standing in the water smoking, drinking and eating until the pool closed. I finally walked past the pool to the office to ask if they might enforce the rules. If they had, perhaps the party would have left after using the pool for its intended purpose. No one was at the office. On my way to and from my room I was subjected to catcalls, taunts and sexual comments from some of the clearly intoxicated despite that I was wearing a coverup over my modest swimsuit. I spent the rest of the evening in my room under effective house arrest to avoid further harassment. I would have said something more at check out time but again no one was there so I just left my keys. I have contacted the property detailing the experience and was told I "should have said something" and that they were unaware despite the pool being outside the office. They also declined even a partial refund to make up for my being denied facilities I paid to use. I wish I had paid attention to all the reviews I saw saying "don't go." I've solo traveled in 39 countries and generally not felt unsafe or disrespected, but decent families and solo travelers (especially women) should avoid this place.
