Classic Hotel am Stetteneck

Things we loved during our stay: Location - located near the town center close to restaurants, shops, and all the activities; it’s not smacked right in the center, so there’s still quiet feel to it. It’s also in the picturesque section of the town. We used the bus to get to Ortisei and the hotel is just walking distance to the bus station. Room - we stayed in a room that is spacious and comfortable. Amenities are okay. Toilet is of good size and to our joy, it has bidet. Must commend the room cleaning too for splendid job in keeping things tidy. Breakfast/Dinner - breakfast spread is with lots of choices and things served are tasty. Love the natural honey straight from the honey comb. Enjoyed the breakfast specially with friendly staff. We had to leave very early during the last day, and they gave us breakfast/lunch box. The dinner option in the hotel is at a reasonable price. Went for that during our last night and was our best dinner in Ortisei. Service - staff are friendly and very pleasant to talk to, without overdoing it. We particularly liked that they offer free guided hikes especially useful for novice hikers like us. We loved the hikes, as we were able to maximize our time and enjoyed the company of our guide Gorg and co-hikers. Doing it with a guide and with the group made our hike a lot more enjoyable and meaningful. If we are to visit Ortisei, definitely would stay in Stetteneck again.

Lovely hotel! The staff was helpful with information and recommendations. Wonderful attention to details. Even loaned us hiking poles for our journey to Seceda Summit. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Dining room staff were outstanding! Would highly recommend Hotel am Stetteneck!

Excellent boutique hotel with all you need so close by outdoor activities and what Ortisei has to offer. Friendly staffs, good breakfast, picture perfect room with amenities. Highly recommend as will definitely stray here in our next group trip.

The hotel staff were helpful and friendly every step of the stay. We had our son with us and they were also great with him. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was incredible- some of the best meals we had on our 2 week trip to Italy. And the pool and spa were the best way to spend rainy afternoons when the clouds stopped us from seeing anything on our hike

The hotel location is good, the dinner is excellent and the suggested wine by the chef pairs well. The room is spacious and clean and we stayed in one that has beautiful views of the valley. The staffs are very welcoming and the service is excellent.
