Résidence b'o Cottage - b'o Resort Thermal & Spa ★★★★
"With a pool for the kids, it's great"
Le Manoir du Lys ★★★★
"From the greeting to the goodbye everything was perfect. If I had one minor criticism it would be the pillows, some where ready to be disposed of."
Hôtel Inn Design & Restaurant Alençon ★★
"Convenient & cheap overnight stop with quick access back onto motorway yet quiet & calm. Shame about the restaurant side ! Arriving week day on way south told closed cos. chef on holiday ! 🫣 On return Saturday journey north arrived to be told restaurant not open weekends 😳 Restaurants open in outskirts of Alencon a 10 min drive."
Domaine de Prestal ★★★
"What a fabulous find this was! We were looking for an overnight stopping place on our return to the UK and are so pleased we found Domaine de Prestal. It’s a wonderful, tranquil location surrounded by lovely countryside. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. Nicholas is a great host and makes very good cocktails! A hearty breakfast before our departure set us up very nicely for the final stage of our journey. So much better than the just-off-the-motorway chain hotels we normally stay at. We shall return and have no hesitation in recommending this fine establishment."
Château de Blavou Normandie ★★★★
"We booked this Chateau as a last stop at the end of our holiday in France. It was intended to be a bit of luxury after a long drive .. and it is certainly spectacular in its setting and age. The owners were welcoming and helpful and their home-made breads and pastries were amazing - as was their jam, meaning we had to take some home! There was some confusion over dinner as it was not available when we arrived so check the instructions on booking - we went into the nearby town and were lucky to find somewhere open on a Sunday night. The room was a little tired and would be challenging to reach if you were at all unsteady on your feet as it was up a steep, stone, curved stair case with the hollows of centuries-worth of footsteps making it quite a feat! The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in in months - although my husband was convinced it moved in the night! The owners assured us it was not ******* so it may have been the wine! All in all a lovely place and I would like to return in the spring/summer months to see it in all its glory."
B&B Hotel Alencon Nord ★★
"Really not a great hotel, very small room and far from everything"
Hotel Campanile Nature - Alençon ★★★
"Love the simple and clean hotel, can just park your car outside your room. Love the breakfast too, not much choices but is tasty."
Ibis Budget Flers les Grands Champs ★★
"Very good stay and beautiful step"
La Brocherie ★★★
"Fantastic host. Superb welcome. Spotless and spacious room. High-quality service. We booked two nights with breakfast included. Fresh orange juice and local apple juice. Excellent. Generous breakfast for adults and children. We ordered a cheese and charcuterie platter prepared by the cheesemaker in Bagnoles-sur-Orne. Absolutely superb."
