Ok...I'm a Hilton Diamond member. I WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE EVER AGAIN. Here is a list of problems: ice machine 4th floor never worked all week, carpets in halls, elevators, and rooms are dirty and stained, fridge/freezer in room was so iced over the door had trouble closing, lamp in between the beds was corroded and you had to play with it to get it to go off or on, there was only luke warm water everyday for showers no matter when we took showers, holes in walls where pictures should be, the towel holder above toilet missing ( only metal plate and holes in wall left, I've never stayed in such a bad Hilton or for that matter any name branded hotel. I expected more from a Hilton.

First off, let me say that the staff at this hotel were very nice and accommodating. If it wasn’t for that, I would give a lower rating. This hotel is not a Hilton in terms of nicer Hilton Hotels. It needs updating and repairs. The furniture in our room was old and the walls and doors were scuffed and dinged. The worst part was a bad smell. It could be because they allow pets, lesson learned here, I won’t stay in a place that allows pets again. The pool is small and the hotel overall has an odor. When we complained about the odor, the maintenance person was at our door right away. Again, the staff is nice. The beach is right out the door and its was great. We had the breakfast bar and it was ok. I won’t be back to this hotel.

The receptionist was disinterested in confirming our booking and kept wiping her nose with her hand. The breakfast bacon was burnt. Our bathroom had broken fittings on the wall. Our bedroom door security lock would not engage. The bathroom wall was cracked. The TV controller had black tape covering the battery compartment which was missing its cover. The bath tub was very slippery probably due to the cleaner they used. Had to use a towel as an anti slip surface. The toilet seat was loose. Not even to Days Inn Standards.

The hotel is average, but the hotel staff is amazing top to bottom. I have stayed in quite a few Hilton family hotels and this one ranks in the top three for having the friendliest staff. I really enjoyed the smiles, mini conversations, and banter the staff offered while we stayed for 5 nights. Will definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel for the past 6 years and this the first time we were disappointed. Now that pets are allow, our room smelled like pet urine. Due to the hotel was at full capacity we had nowhere to go. Air freshener was administered but did not compete with the odor. After the two day period Bridget and Veronica found a clean and odor free-room for us to complete our stay. Great place to stay just wished the odor had been taken care of before we arrived.

Came with my husband for a conference While it appears that “updates” have been made - the blackout curtain had holes in it the curtain over it was falling off the rack the bathroom still had the old hardware where shelves used to be or still SHOULD have been still an old “smoke” smell in the NON-SMOKING room There were NO BUGS to be found - so clean but not my standards clean Sheets were clean No stains in the carpet Breakfast NOT WORTH $18 - grab granola bars or pop tarts Balcony BEACH VIEW Beach was NOT crowded- plenty of room Staff friendly

This place was great, and three of their employees really stood out. When we checked in I had trouble with my digital key, Brigette at the front desk was quick to help me out and was very friendly. She made me a card and I was in pronto. We stayed there 6 nights and have no complaints. We ate the breakfast every day and the cook, I think his name was Kashon, always stuck his head out with a smile with a good morning, and told me to let him know if I needed anything. The food he prepared was great. Last, but certainly not least, was Carmen the bartender. She was amazing. Treated us just like family. We sat around at the bar several nights and it was just like hanging out with family or longtime friends. I asked her to try and make a drink I had on a cruise ship recently, and after a couple of attempts she had perfected it It was a great stay while we attended a conference, and we absolutely will stay here again at this conference next year. Thank you Brigette, Kashon and Carmen for an amazing stay!!!

Nice stay overall however I’ve been on hold for an hour trying to get my receipt. $10 to park a day in the most basic hotel parking lot.. if you order a drink from the bar they’ve marked it up to $26 that comes with a “free cup”.. the amount of money you spend in one drink pays for the entire bottle of alcohol. $18 for a typical hotel breakfast.
