First of all, there was not reception with personal working there and nobody told me this before arriving. I was waiting for 4 hours in the lobby without any information until they sent me the code to access into the apartment. The microwave doesn’t work and there wasn’t instructions. If you put a dishwasher at least you should leave some dishwasher tablets to use it and some soap and scouring pad if we don’t want to use the dishwasher. There wasn’t kitchen paper. Just due to the characteristics of the accommodation, all these things that I have mentioned should be provided for the client's meals. It's something basic like toilet paper. I work in some apartments (4stars) in Barcelona and we provide everything, oil, sugar, salt, kitchen paper… You deserve to have the stars you have if you do not think about the client's comforts.

A really disappointing experience, the aircon in the room did not work, we were given a double bed even though we had called ahead and were reassured that we had two twin beds. We got a room here as part of a package with Coldplay tickets so the room wasn’t booked directly with the hotel. This was the main reason we called ahead of our stay to ensure we had the correct bed setup - we are father and daughter so a double bed was not appropriate. When I phoned to confirm the person behind the desk said he was too busy with check ins and would call me back- two hours later and still nothing. When I called back the person I spoke to was rushing to get me off the phone, I confirmed that they had our booking and asked if we had a room with twin beds. The person I spoke to advised we had two twin beds and everything was fine, when we checked in after our concert this was not the case. The hotel was fully booked and the bed could not be split into two twins so we had to make do with a double. The room itself was very hot and stuffy, the aircon didn’t work - initially we couldn’t get it to switch on due to the finicky lock on the window but even once on it did not do much to cook down the room. The only positive thing we have to say really is that the breakfast was okay and staff did try and resolve the situation with the bed by coming to check if they could split the bed into two which unfortunately couldn’t be done. The shower was mediocre and there were no toiletries provided in the room - only some soap for hand washing. The shower heat was not consistent, it kept going hot and cold whilst in use. Overall I would not recommend this hotel, I am not sure how this is classed as 4 stars.

This is the hotel that Ctrip helped me rebook. Because I had booked the Swiss Star next to the airport before, it was originally a 1.4-bed bed but ended up with two separate small beds. I contacted Ctrip and waited for an hour for it to be changed. If you arrive in the middle of the night, you will be very upset. Fortunately, I didn't stay in the original one. It was very troublesome and the environment was not that good, but you could cook and it was more like a B&B. This Zsleep is more like a four-star high-end hotel. The environment is very picturesque. We had a buffet breakfast and booked it in advance for 16 francs, which is a bargain in Switzerland. Because a supermarket sandwich costs about 8 francs. The black aunt who served breakfast was very enthusiastic. Self check-in requires filling in information.

I had to be at Zurich airport by about 8:30 am after visiting family in Lucerne so decided to stay at this hotel in the circle which was quite close - walking distance - into the airport. Great arrangement. The hotel is tucked back at one side of “The Circle” and signage not very clear how to find Hyatt Place (vs Hyatt hotel which I think is also there on the other side). Signage should be improved but Hyatt Place is in a quiet location and the rooms, though not large were very clean and well equipped. I did not care about a view since I went to Zurich for the evening. The “view” from my room was just of other buildings, so not really a view but I got a good rate for a last minute (day before) reservation. I did not pay for the breakfast so cannot comment on the food. The lounge area and restaurant were very nice & staff was very helpful. They should have told me at check-in though how to use the elevators which required my room card be used in a specific way to get up to upper levels. The hotel lobby is accessed on the second level, also a little different than the usual.

Are you a business traveller seeking a comfortable place to stay with good service at a reasonable price? Then B&B Hotel Rumlang is hard to beat. I stay here regularly and I find the value, the quality of the rooms, facilities and services very good for the price per night. I know that when I arrive here, a comfortable bed, a clean room with simple offerings, and a good nights rest is what is waiting for me. We stayed for one night before our flight out of Zurich. It's located about 10-15 min walk from the Rümlang train station. There are not a lot of food options nearby. We only saw Mc Donald's and Subway. The on-site restaurant was good, but the menu was limited. We stayed in a family room, which was basically two connecting rooms, one with a double bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms were modern and had great showers, great blackout blinds/curtains, very comfortable beds, and supportive pillows. They offer scheduled shuttle to the airport for 6 CHF per person, but it was cheaper and more convenient for us to call an Uber.

GGuest UserI have spent 18 days working from JOYN Zurich so think this should be a fairly accurate review of my experience. For context, JOYN is new so may still be working through teething issues, but hopefully this is useful feedback. Pros; - Comfortable, well equipped rooms. I was in one of the largest apartments they offer and it is a good space to spend a lot of time - The kitchenette whilst small is workable and has most of what you'd need - Well located close to the airport and about 25 mins by tram to central Zurich - Nice bathroom and good shower pressure - Gym is good with nice new equipment - Very close to great supermarkets (Coop and Migros next door) - The communal spaces are lovely, including the central courtyard and roof gardens - Strong water pressure from the shower (although the drain didn't seem to be able to cope with the volume of water which meant potential overflowing of the shower unless carefully managed) - The room has a small dishwasher. There were two dishwasher tablets provided and these weren't topped up by the cleaners, meaning you'll need to buy more Unfortunately the cons are pretty significant though, particularly if you want to work from here; Cons - The wifi is atrocious. At best the speeds hover around 1mbps which isn't good enough for stable whatsapp or facetime calls, let alone Teams or Zoom work calls. I thought this may have been my room but is pretty much my experience in all the open spaces including the ground floor communal spaces (see screenshot from Speedtest). This makes it unsuitable for any work. - The cleaning services are a bare minimum. After one week they changed my linen and towels but didn't vacuum, sweep the floor, empty bins or clean the bathroom. After another 7 days they'd hadn't come to clean again and when prompted they said it would be cleaned that day (but it wasn't). On the 8th day I asked and again they promised to have it cleaned. Whilst I wouldn't mind cleaning myself, there is no vacuum cleaner, cleaning cloths or anything else in the room to clean with, so unless you want to buy your own, be prepared for it to get pretty dusty and the bathroom to get dirty. Cleaning also didn't include replacing the kitchen towels so you'll have to wash these yourself if you're staying for an extended period. - Other than the supermarkets nearby there is pretty much nothing else around Perhaps they're not used to guests having longer stays, but with cleaning services like this, it will become pretty horrible unless guests buy the cleaning products and do it themselves.

GGuest UserLets begin with the one thing every international traveler staying at an airport hotel needs: power for one's devices. The guest rooms don't have any USB ports. The electrical outlets are the deeply recessed teardrop shape specifically designed to thwart the use of international outlet adaptor kits. The hotel does not have adaptors to lend. The front desk's solution? They have USB ports behind the front desk (then why not in the rooms?) and you can leave your device at the desk to be charged. Clearly, this hotel would prefer that you be Swiss. The WiFi network was completely unsecured and it kept disconnecting. Every 30 seconds or so. Moving on to the room: not very comfortable. The outside temperature was around 78F/25.5C and I had the AC turned up, but I still couldn't wear anything other than my unmentionables until the sun set and the outdoor temperature drpped. There are heavy metal blinds on the windows which can be opened but not raised or lowered. Kind of like the metal grates you see on store windows in dicey neighborhoods in New York. The sheets were thin. On one of the beds, the sheet had several black marks, although it appeared to have been laundered. There was a safe and an electric kettle. In the closet, the panel covering the circuit breaker panel had been removed from (or fallen off?) the wall and was on the floor leaning against the closet wall. Good thing I didn't need to hang anything up. Maybe someone was trying to find a way to plug in their phone. The water pressure in the shower was just barely adequate. Someone had installed the sink faucet handle incorrectly, so you could only turn it to the left. The towels were pretty good, however. The breakfast buffet is 5CHF, but if you want to get breakfast in your room, you will pay an additional 26CHF. I like getting room service for breakfast and I've stayed at many hotels that are much better than this one, but I have never seen a room service charge anywhere in the same galaxy. Even if breakfast costs $25 and there is a $3 charge plus 18% service charge plus you tip 18%, that is still less than half of what the Dorint will charge you to get breakfast brought to you room. I ate at the bar with a group of people and we requested separate checks before we ordered. The food was fine, if pricey. My gin and soda cost 21.5 CHF. Again, I stayed in two other, far better, hotels in the Bernes Alps during the same trip, and I never paid more than 13CHF for the same drink. When it came time to pay, one might have wondered if the server and bartender were solving Fermat's last theorem rather than adding up seven checks for a one course supper. It took as long to pay as it did to eat.

RRovingAlI stayed at this hotel for one night for an early departure. It is located in a neat township of Glattbrugg within a seven-minute bus ride from the Zurich airport. Buses circulate every 6 or 7 minutes. My modest investment of € 80 has paid off in spades. The room was big and uncluttered with a super-comfortable bed and a HUGE TV screen with free movies for all tastes. There was a tiny fridge too with free Coke, beer and orange juice. Spacious wardrobe, large work surface and a big bathroom, with this particular shine that comes from highly professional cleaning. Its only downside from my point of view was a smallish bath in the place of a largish shower cubicle that would have been my preference. There is also a gym, a wellness centre and several eateries including a spareribs place but I had no time for exploring those. Within a short walking distance there are several take-aways and a supermarket. I found the price to be quite reasonable for an airport hotel and even affordable. My only doubt was an insecure internet connection that my browser categorically blocked as it posed a threat to the security of my personal data. Chrome had no such qualms though. All in all, to be highly recommended.

GGuest UserChosen this hotel as it is near to the airport and they have just resumed the airport shuttle service which is a plus point. However, when I arrive the hotel in the morning after a long 13 hours flight from Singapore, the room was not ready which is kind of understandable. After a long wait until 2pm, my room was not ready yet, and only at 3.30pm I got my room key. To my horror, the room was filthy. It was not cleaned, soiled cups everywhere and the trash bin was not cleared, and chocolate crumbs on my bed. It was disgusting. Immediately I went down to the reception to ask for another room, and instead of higher floor, I was assigned a ground floor. The front desk (I believed she is the supervisor), she was very rude. It is a shame to the Swiss Hospitality. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

GGuest UserClean, quiet and conveniently located to public transport. They need to improve on a couple of minor things like offering the free shuttle to the airport and not just from the airport, and offering atleast one bottle of complimentary mineral water (perhaps in a returnable glass bottle) per day. The property looks a bit aged, but overall it meets the needs of an airport hotel quite well. I'd recommend it.

Very good location as Tram stop is just right outside the hotel and Tram 10 and 12 directly from airport and can transfer to Zurich HB which was very convenient.
Will highly recommend and can come back again.
