The stay was pleasant. The staff and management of the hotel were also very pleasant and very friendly. The breakfast was up to Dutch standards and good. The room was too dark and the TV too small. There was a lack of storage space and hanging options as well as in the bathroom. It was ok for these 3 days.

chefs’ 4 gangen diner op een windstille zomeravond op het terras bij ruim 20 graden; de chef had een prachtig menu met een bijzonder en smaakvol voorgerecht met o.a. verse haring en komkommersorbet, een fantastisch warm tussengerecht met tarbot, mossel, chorizoschuim en saffraan en een hoofdgerecht met sukade- en haas van het rund. Tot slot een dessert met wilde perzik en mangosorbet, Dat alles met bijpassende wijn, goed gastheerschap en soepele bediening. Kortom: als je wilt genieten moet je hier zijn!

Zeer goed bevallen hadden via hotelkamerveiling geboekt. En kregen een mooie kamer op de begane grond kamer 26 met mooi terras zie foto's. Ontbijt goed personeel vriendelijk. Wij komen zeker terug. Groetjes

Voor enkele dagen verbleven in dit keurige hotel. Ongevraagde upgrade naar een kamer met terras (21). Helemaal goed. Kamers zagen er keurig uit (alhoewel volgens de eigenaar verouderd). Wij zagen geen enkel probleem: Goed bed, goede douches en schoon. 's Avonds genoten van een uitstekend diner (oud-Librije-koks). Vriendelijke bediening en gastheer/-vrouw. Het hotel tegen de winter (2017) verbouwd. We zijn zeer nieuwsgierig naar "verbeteringen". Volgend jaar komen we zeker terug. Uitstekend gelegen aan de rand van Ommen en mooie stek als start van de vele viets en wandelroutes. Populaire gelegenheid
