Rodeway Inn & Suites Omak - Okanogan

This is very much an economy hotel. When you arrive, the reader board welcoming you to town sets the tone with "Welcome to Om", with the A hanging down and the K missing. The permanent sign on the checkin desk saying, "We're sorry; we are having problems with the TVs" further sets your expectations. My room was clean and had fresh paint and vinyl flooring and everything was functional except the wifi was weak. My laptop got a solid signal capable of video streaming, albeit only one bar. Another device could connect only in front of the window and another couldn't find the signal at all. The TV service was good. There were a lot of reminders of how you don't pay for unnecessary maintenance at this hotel. For example, the bath towels were stained, apparently having been used for something other than bath towels, but they were clean and smelled fresh. The breakfast was good, but was available for me only one of the three mornings I was there. Another morning, it started an hour late and another, it was cancelled. There was some problem with the breakfast supplier. Food and drink vending machines and 24 hour ice are two of the amenities you might expect at a fancier hotel that you won't find here.

Horrible customer service. Summer at the front desk was rude and didn't know the meaning of customer service. Didn't check to see that she assigned the correct type room. Was rude when I insisted on the correct type room. Did not follow through on request to have the tv repaired. Our room had dead mosquitoes smashed on the wall. The internet would not work in the wing we were assigned. Jetted tub would not hold water. Microwave had wrong glass dish so it didn't rotate. Chair was extremely dirty. Cabinets were peeling. Fireplace didn't work.

Too much to say; when we arrived, we were not greeted, no eye contact was made, the girl behind the counter literally did not say a word to us until she HAD to ask our last name to finalize the check-in. And then she turned and walked away. My husband had to go back to the office to get the WiFi password (because they refuse to answer the phone), she scribbled it on a piece of paper and still did not say a word nor give eye contact. No information was given to us about the hotel, breakfast, etc. When my husband asked whether or not there was breakfast, the girl yelled "yes" from the office, where she had already retreated to. It was the rudest service we have ever had....anywhere! The next morning wasn't any better. Two staff people, no eye contact, no help, just rude. The area is not safe, we were fearful our car could get broken into, people lingering outside the hotel, and people just outside our door in the middle of the night yelling and using profanity. The night couldn't get over fast enough. It honestly was terrible, and we're pretty good at giving places the benefit of the doubt.

I was very satisfied, I enjoyed my stay, the rooms were clean, the staff was helpful and very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. My husband and I liked the restaurant nearby. Next time we are visiting family we will be staying here again.

Very friendly efficient staff, Located in downtown in Omak. Close to many restaurants and theater. Nice wood vinal flooring. Updated room. Nice whirlpool bath. Good value. Will definitely stay here next trip.

No wifi (except in office), 4-5 channels on a very blurry tv, no tea (we've been out since yesterday but the manager will bring some in tomorrow-didn't happen) the bed was like a slab of concrete with 2 pancakes for pillows. I gave it 1 2 stars because it was clean. Well done housekeeping!

It was a nice surprise to find out that the serve a hot breakfast. The staff was very friendly. And the rooms are comfortable and very clean. The old reviews on this site does not do it justice. Will stay again

Just look at the pictures!!!! Very dirty!!!! I checked in and went to go get food and a little shopping. When I got back I discovered how bad it really was and the office was closed. I couldn’t just leave because they gave me a physical key, no a key card, and had to wait until 7am for the office to open to give them back their key. Not even a night key drop.
