One of the worst stays I have ever experienced in a supposed resort. Firstly paid over ₱7000 for a room to fit 3 adults and a kid. The room was very tired, not very clean, tv did not work properly and very basic in amenities. Not worth with the price! The overall resort is very tired. It needs a major refurbishment. Paint is peeling, large cracks in the building, garden returning to jungle etc! Staff are not at all friendly or flexible. Arrrived with our family at 12pm after a long drive. Requested an early check in. Advised they are just cleaning the room now. I said that is great can you advise how long until will be ready. The reply you can not access it until 2pm at the earliest. Wow. Thanks. The free breakfast is average basic Filipino style breakfast food. It is a buffet format only 7am to 9am. Very limited hours for a supposed resort. Also requested if we could just take. plate to our room (literally a minute from where the food is served) to be told no not possible. The location is average. On a busy highway. Not sure where they get Waterfront for the name of the hotel as the only water close by is the run down pool with a run down bar. The bar has chairs that look like they have been recycled from a trash site. The bar staff did not know how to make basic cocktails and constantly referred to a 'menu' with the expected result being average overpriced drinks. The final and worst part of this once in a life experience was the check out process. We went to check out around 11.15am well before the noon requirement. After handing in the keys and and the deposit slip for the ₱1000 to be returned in full (we did not consume anything in the room) I just stood there for about 10 mins. I asked why the delay. Advised housekeeping was checking the room. Ok so I sat down. After another 20 mins chased them. Finally advised they would be keeping my deposit because of supposed stain on pillow case and sheet. We were invited to inspect the linen. First, the pillow case was like this whern we arrived! Second, the small dirt marks on the sheet were not stains at all and clearly would be cleaned in a standard wash.! After my wife argued the ridiculous of the accusation and the ridiculous of not getting a tiny bit of dirt out in a standard wash we were finally given our deposit in full. This I expect was a scam attempt to falsely pocket our deposit. The whole check out experience took over 45 mins and was embarrassing in that the false accusations were directed at us in front of other customers. If there is one resort/hotel to avoid this is it! If you are crazy enough to stay there now you now only have your self to blame!

We enjoyed the place, though we did not used all the pool and slides. We spent more time on kiddie pool and wave pools.my 2 yr old son enjoyed it. It needs some repairs for safety, like the railing on one slide is alredy gone. Kiddie pool is right beside the rampage pool, not a good setup parent must watch their small kids closely make sure they dont cross.
The beach is not suitable for swmming, there are some trashes, you wont notice it unless you swim, its best just for sports activities.
As for the room, its good except for the plumbing which did not work on our last day and also the chairs are already defective, need replacement or repair. But we got the good view of the pool and the subic bay.
The staff are friendly and always ready to assist.

Location very accessible to everything
Super friendly and accommodating staffs.
Cable TV and internet are moody. Sometimes smooth, sometimes no signal.
There is hot and cold shower, but there were rooms that the hot shower is not working, or needs time to heat again.
Collects garbage if you put it outside your door.

It was a great stay at another @RedDoorz room :-) The room was big and well appointed. It was clean and cool - I mean Cold (great AC) Internet was above average for most hotels in the Subic area.
Parking was easy and the location was quite but not remote. SBMA was a short drive away (really easy) and the rest of downtown Olongapo was a good distance by walk or drive. Really great.

1) I don't understand why after the room cleaning service is done everyday, there are bound to be things that they forget to top up. Example; bottles of water, shower gel, towel, room slippers, washroom floor mat. It just happens everyday. 2) Laundry, I was told the laundry will be done the next morning and will be placed in my room. But everyday after my work is done here at about 5pm and I return back to the hotel. It wasn't there. I'll have to go to the reception to ask for it. 3) I've been travelling and staying in different hotels, this is the first hotel that the receptionist called me at 12.30am to tell me that guests are not allowed to stay after 10pm, if there is, I'll have to pay an extra of 1500php. Simply ridiculous! And for the record, I have paid for a double queen room with 2 queen size bed. Never had I needed to pay for an extra guest as if I'm paying for an extra pax flight ticket. 4) Breakfast, disappointing. Buffet style typical Filipino dishes of about 6 which includes rice and bread. And it will not be fully operational till 6.30am instead of 6 am which was stated. And currently, a lot of hotels are already serving continental/international breakfast buffet style. 5) Came down to check out, but it's probably the longest check out I have ever experienced. Took me about 1.5hrs to rectify and complete the check out as there is an over-charged amount on my bill. Told me it's their mistake for over charging after all the waiting. I mean, seriously?! In my opinion, some hotel staff were well trained while a lot of the others were not. Some are polite and some are not. So this is also one of the things the hotel management should look into, they seriously need some training. The only positive thing is the hotel location, the room aircon was cold, and the room looks new as it's a newly built hotel. Other than these, I don't see anything that is worth the stay. There are a lot of better hotels in Subic Bay.

If this place will be renovated I will surely go back. But unfortunately it is an old hotel. Before entering zambales there will be a checkpoint so basically we need an antigen test before entering the place.
I thought the pool with slides is 5-6ft deep but it's just 4ft. And the other pool which I think is the deeper one is full of moss.

Upon arriving at the hotel which looked good from the pictures seen while booking. That was misleading to start with. Proceeded to check in. After they spent around 5 – 10 mins looking for the booking which eventually they found. 2 rooms booked for myself and another for my friend. Was then requested for a holding deposit which is fine, but they wanted this in cash. This I didn’t have, and they wouldn’t take a credit card payment (at this point). So now checking in was complete so you would have thought. Was then told that one of the rooms was upgraded to a VIP room. Nice. Proceeded to the rooms on the 3rd floor and was shocked once the lift door open and we came out. A children’s playground within the corridor. not only that it was nestled nicely into the corner where the corridor swept around. Both of us remarked “what the hell is that”. I got the VIP room and guess what! right by the play area and I mean right outside the door. See picture. Not happy about that…the noise was incredible from kids screaming and using motorised play vehicles. Went into the room and put bags etc down and thought big room …no more than 2 mins later the phone rang and was told oh we forgot to take payment for the rooms. This I thought was the opportunity to change rooms as I might have as well been in the middle of the playground at a school. Went down to reception and request a room change due to noise…what a mistake that was. Paid for the rooms with yes you guessed it a credit card. Given a new room down past the play area and shown in…smaller room yup it was…Dirtier and I mean dirty. Stains on the rug which tried to blend in with the patten…or was it even more stains. Great patch of something brown on the ceiling and just to top it all off the bed sheets also stained. The seating appeared to have been attempted to be ironed as had marks where they had left it resting and had made impression on the seat cover. The bed corners were more like foam barriers as the covering had split and all the contents were now acting as bumpers. Took the decision to make a room change back to the VIP room as could just shut the door and hope the kids would not be making the noise all day and night. Next morning, we both went to have breakfast which I can only describe as possibly the strangest dark brown meat on rice. My friend tried it and took one bite and that was that. Then what looked like a rubberised egg was presented to each of us. Off to Starbucks we went. Went out for the day and came back in the early evening to yes, the screaming playground. Ignored this and then went out again for some food. Came back Kids had gone to bed. Bedtime arrived and in the middle of the night I had to visit the bathroom. Not quite awake I went in and on the way out, eyes now working spotted a little friend on the floor waving it legs about. Took photo as I booked the room for myself only. {see photo) Spent the rest of the night up awake as wasn’t sure if my friend had some mates

Less than 3hr drive from makati, La Jolla is an excellent beach getaway destination. Rooms are clean and comfortable- premium rooms have sea views while deluxe rooms face the garden/interior road. There are 2 pools- one infinity pool at the beach and one kids pool/small lagoon pool up by the main lobby and playground. The beach is the main attraction- soft white grey sand, very few small rocks. Shallow drop similar to boracay makes it very family friendly. Nice trees provide shade near the sunbeds. Food- main restaurant has the breakfast buffet, while the beach restaurant serves lunch & dinner. The menu is limited, but portions are generous for the price and food was quite good. Pepperoni Pizza was good, and the chicken inasal & pinakbet with lechon kawali were delicious. The hamburger was the only item that we didn’t like the taste of. We had to preorder in advance since some menu items were not available and the service would take time. Staff are very friendly, but we did need to remind them almost daily to clean our room. WiFi is available and globe signal is significantly weaker than smart. Rooms have cignal tv. Special mention to Joyce, mark and the rest of the f&b crew for tirelessly serving the guests during the Christmas break! We will definitely go back soon.

Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a cool place, but it has its ups and downs.
When we arrived, checking in wasn't smooth. Our key card didn't work, and we had to wait 30-40 minutes to get into our room. Plus, there wasn't even a place to wait comfortably.
The food at the Filipino restaurant was okay, but it was pricey for what you got. Breakfast was better though, with lots of yummy Filipino dishes at a fair price.
Housekeeping staffs and jeepney drivers were awesome. They were really nice and helpful.
Our room was big and had a huge bathroom, which was nice.
There's a ton of stuff to do around the resort, so staying just one night isn't enough. You really need at least two days to enjoy everything.
The best part was seeing all the old houses. They were like stepping back in time and were super interesting.
Overall, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a neat place to visit, even though it has some things that could be better.

Very Good
GGuest UserIn principle the 4**** is too much, realistically 2.5* is appropriate.
Check in went smoothly, the room was clean, large and practical. Unfortunately, the room pictured online was the suite, hence the disappointment about the lack of a sea view.
In addition, there is no breakfast directly in the hotel, this information is also withheld online, you are referred to 2 neighboring restaurants that ONLY offer local, mostly lukewarm to cold, breakfast. If you use the local buffet instead of the selection, this also costs extra 😡
The hotel is busy and very noisy, with parties at the pool or in the rooms lasting well into the early hours of the morning. There was no evidence of management intervention.
For guests like us who want to relax, this hotel is unsuitable with the constant nightly celebrations of short-term vacationers or conference participants, especially since the first guests leave for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and you are then involuntarily woken up again.
I would have imagined the 7-day stay differently.
Repetition factor is very low or not at all😰
GGuest UserThere are no particular problems with the facilities.
I was able to check in and out smoothly.
The room was large and Japanese people could spend there without any problem.
The shower is weak.
Food has its own peculiarities. (especially sausage)
The rice porridge tasted like ginseng chicken soup.

GGuest UserExcellent stay. Modern rooms. Air conditioner. Tv was ok. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Shower & tub were good. Prebooked parking at Republic car park. Tube was 3 minutes walking Wonderful view. Najm, Tahmid & Kristina were very helpful.
GGuest UserThe staff was super attentive and courteous. I had a really nice time. The location is gorgeous and the food at the restaurant is delicious. Great value for the price. They have a pool and they do laundry for 50 pesos a kilo.
GGuest UserI'd admit 3 hotel staff members were welcoming and helpful in fulfilling my inquiries/requests. Then again one or possibly two other unnamed staff members were either rudely inconvenienced by the presence of us hotel guests with appeared to be a trickle of an attitude. If they don't like the job, then why must they be somewhat retained by the hotel's employer? It would also benefit the hotel to post in each room copies of the Jewel Cafe & Restaurants' menus for us guests who crave food daily, since the restaurant is just steps away from the sleep & stay. Otherwise my accomodation was satisfactory with plenty of stores, bars and outdoor food vendors along the national roadway.
GGuest UserLocation is good and budget friendly but other than that there is nothing nice about this hotel. No bottled water, no toiletries and no towels provided. We requested 2 towels and they provided us with a fee. Upon checkout they mentioned that there should be 4 towels, 2 that should have been in the room as complimentary and the 2 that we requested. Housekeeper confirmed he definitely placed 2 towels in the room but there weren't any. Towels looks like rags by the way. They let me go and didnt charge for the ”missing” rags aka towels but asked me to pay P100 for the supposedly additional towels. Which I later realised I shouldn't have paid since there should have been 2 complimentary towels in the first place which they missed to put in the room. The smell on the elevator is bad even in the room. Floor feels sticky and we saw a cockroach crawling around. Corridors are dark and some tiles were dislodged and uneven, we tripped a few times. Toilet bowl does not have a seat cover. Too bad I didn't take pictures. Better stay somewhere else. I should have read reviews from Tripadvisor and booked somewhere else. I relied on Agoda reviews which showed only the positive reviews hence ended up booking in this hotel.
BBea BlancoThe location of the hotel is great since it was in the heart of the city. Accessible malls but the cleanliness is a little low since there are some bugs roaming inside the room but overall the stay is great. Guard deserves a raise since he is very kind and easy to talk to.
DderektripsNew and improved rooms and restaurant. I always stay here. The staff is friendly and pleasant. The pool is secluded and relaxing. Only steps away from the beach. Lots of bars within walking distance. You can find local cuisine as well as American food nearby.
