Niyama Private Islands Maldives

This was our second time of visiting Niyama private Islands in the Maldives and we were not disappointed, it keeps getting better and better. It is literally visiting heaven here on earth. From the amazing restaurants and food to the accommodation and the staff are incredible especially Maria who went beyond to make our stay the best holiday we have ever had 🙌🫶😍

This is not our first time in Maldives, but this one is special! Great place and hospitality by nyama team and specially by mogni who did great job providing all our needs in the resort with maximum professionalism, and responding 24/24 our calls and requests, giving the right advices and tips to enjoy the island and activities, totally advise visiting nyama and dealing with mogni and other great nyama staff!

We visited this resort in October 2024 and had a wonderful time! The food is simply amazing whether you opt for a dinner in the middle of the ocean or in the treetops of the rain forest. The pristine beaches and vegetation on the islands are stunning. The bicycles provided are the perfect way get to around the play and chill islands, whether you want to go for breakfast, snorkelling, diving or to surf shack for a sundowner. Our bungalow as well as the outside facilities were kept immaculate at all times. The exceptional service made our holiday even more enjoyable. All staff were extremely friendly and our thakuru Shanoon spared no effort to fulfil all our wishes from organising our activities to answer every question that came up. We highly recommend this resort and hope to return!

Best luxury hotel in the Maldives for surfing and families! We had an amazing stay at Niyama Maldives. The island truly feels like your own private island with an incredibly kind and attentive staff, great food, and amenities for the whole family. Activities: - Surfing: As intermediate surfers we wanted to travel to the Maldives to enjoy surfing as well as a beautiful beach. Niyama was the perfect choice! With both a fun wave right off of the island as well as a very friendly staff to help with any questions, set up transfers, and provide guidance on the conditions, we were able to enjoy surfing and also all the island had to offer. - Diving: We did our Padi certificate and had beautiful dives close to the island. Snorkeling was also easily accessible. There was a decent reef right off the beach, as well as a very active "blue hole" that even the most beginners of snorkeling could enjoy. We saw tons of fish, manta's, sharks, eels! - Kids Club: Wow. This kids club is one of the best, with the best activities we have ever seen. Indoor, the facility is fully stacked with toys, games, activities, a mini-movie theater. Outside, there is a kitchen, full playground, and even a splash pad/mini water activity area. They took the kids on scavenger hunts, to the spa, and did baking. The teachers and nannies are so kind and the kids absolutely loved them. Food: We were a bit worried about doing the full board, as we weren't sure if there would be enough variety of restaurants. In the end, the setup is great! You always have one meal a day you can order off a menu and the buffets are high end, good quality, and well presented. There is always a station (or two) of fresh to order items and everything was presented to a high standard and delicious! The other restaurants on the island were such a nice surprise as they offered incredible ambiance, interesting cuisine, and were worth the extra supplement. Additionally, the villas were always full of water, tea, coffee, and we never felt like we couldn't find water or basic drinks. Accommodation: Beach Villas feel like your own private beach house that opens up to a very private feeling beach. We were not prepared for how special this would be. The space is comfortable and large enough to feel like a mini-house. The bathrooms are definitely cool - outside shower and setup is very lux. The vibe is island lux - which we loved. Service: The staff at Niyama were dedicated, kind, and on it. We were so impressed with the Attention to detail and consistency we saw from everyone we encountered in all departments. You will be taken care of and feel at home here. The guests: We loved the international mix of people at this property. We met people from all over the world, many of whom we will keep in touch with and hope to see again. A very private but also social environment if you want it to be. A beautiful island paradise with the most wonderful, helpful staff and fabulous food. Shafeeg looked after us so well during our stay, he couldn’t have done more for us. Charming, kind and helpful with his restaurant suggestions. We certainly didn’t have the next week of weather, but with the beauty of the surroundings and the lovely room and pool, it wasn’t an issue.
