Two night stay at this Aloft hotel. Location is a 5min walk to Bricktown canal. This has a trendy feel and the rooms reflect this. No closet or iron and ironing board. They provide a steamer which worked well. Room has fridge below sink and a safe. Pool was under maintenance during our stay and they were re-furbishing the gym. 6th floor patio floor was dark and deserted in the evening. Breakfast consists of bagels and sandwiches for purchase that look right of a Jimmy Dean ad. Nothing special there. Could hear traffic from 3rd floor room facing 2nd street. Sounded like a garbage truck in the early Friday morning that woke me up several times. Parking was free.

I used this hotel again for a business trip, arrived late, and left early, but the stay was perfect for my needs. The staff, as always, are always very pleasant, and Chandler checked me in super fast. Will use this hotel for all my visits to Oklahoma

So we stayed there as a family. Got two rooms and when we arrived and settled in the kids wanted to go to the pool. In the first 5 mins we realized the sink was clogged and wouldnt drain. Room is very oddly designed with just a big space, small couch table and one chair. Very cold feeling and a TINY tv on a huge wall. This was probably the nicest room they had. Then the toilet seat was so loose you could almost fall off of it. Toilet paper mount wiggly. Just no attempt to have things in working order. After some not so great first impressions we went down to the pool. Got the kids set up out there and realized the pool was greenish. Went to the bar ...which is a cute space and patrons told me the food was good. I cannot confirm. After that my kids came back in after only about 3 minutes and said the water felt slimy...phyically slimy. This is a Marriott property...can't cost more than $200 a month to maintain a pool...this isn't the only bad review about the pool. Not sure why they can't spare the expense as it's my kids favorite thing to do. Bad enough it was super ghetto and was next to a dirty parking garage but to be green and slimy. Just fix the pool.... Time for bed....not sleep..but bed. Hardest bed I've ever been on and the pillows even after being folded twice didn't feel like a pillow. I called for 4 more as my kids needed them too and after an hour just gave up and called back. They just said "they texted them and don't know what happened" But we had to try to sleep. I told the girls the next day at the desk about the pool and they said "yeah"...I could tell it was a manager too which was even more ridiculous. It sounded like "yeah...we know about it and don't care" is exactly what she meant. The hotel was so bad...we left a day early and just drove back to Dallas instead of staying the last night that we paid for. I'd rather burn the money than stay there another night. What a pathetic property. Marriott should be ashamed.

My family had a fantastic experience at the Aloft OKC Bricktown! Nikki and Jillian were so kind and helpful! They helped us with suggestions for fun places to visit and eat while in OKC. Great location. Walking distance to many great restaurants. Highly recommend!

Everything is fine except there is no drawers to put your clothes, the top shelf where the closet is was so dusty, we didn't put our belongings there. Overall, we are enjoying our stay. The rooms are very comfortable. We are celebrating our 27th wedding Anniversary!

Booked a double queen, got a king instead because they sold out even though we checked in early on the app, so had to go out and buy a blowup mattress for our son to sleep on. Manager couldn’t care less. Requested sheets and blankets for the blowup mattress and employee had taken the keys home to the cabinet so had to wait until after midnight to get extra towels and sheets/blankets. Shower coming out of wall and shower grout extremely dirty. Sink wouldn’t drain. Will never stay here again- that’s a guarantee! We are a gold elite status with Marriott and this is a Marriott hotel -didn’t matter.

Lovely room, nice and modern. The restaurant and bar were closed for renovations which was a shame. I have mobility problems and find it much easier then the facilities are onsite. We did eat at a nearby restaurant but would’ve preferred to stay within the hotel

I will start off by saying that the OKC downtown area is very nice and full of great places to visit. However, Aloft OKC Downtown is absolutely NOT one of them. My wife and I frequently travel across the country and put in over 100 nights in Marriotts each year. I am currently a Lifetime Platinum Elite with 10 years of Platinum Elite status or higher including my current Titanium Elite status. The status means nothing really but gives you context to the amount of Marriott properties we visit each year. I will not only not recommend Aloft OKC Downton, I will advocate for people from staying here. Between the cold showers in the morning and the 30-45 minute waits for breakfast, there is absolutely nothing above the minimum in terms of service at the front desk and I felt no sense of warmth or welcoming from this hotel. The AC does not work though out building. I was thoroughly disgusted when the engineer who checked our room plumbing for why there was no hot water (by the way that makes no sense, it is a daily hot water problem because the water is not as hot at 8am as it was at 7am currently as I just checked), left the remnants of whatever was in the jets or drain on the walls of the tub (someone else’s black hair).

My wife and I are very disappointed with Aloft Bricktown, with both its general manager and customer service. My wife and I booked ahead of time and paid ahead of time for a one night stay. We are Marriott hotel members and always give them our business over other hotel chains. However, the morning of check in, my daughter became very ill and we had to take her to the emergency room. I called several hours before check in time to let them know of the situation, that we had an ill child and would not be able to keep our reservation. We were not cancelling because of some minor reason. When your child is sick, that is priority. I asked if it was possible to receive a refund since we cancelled ahead of time and had a very good reason for doing so. I was passed around to several different people until I was finally told that the refund approval would be up to the general manager. However, I was not able to speak to her directly. I left several voicemails over the span of a few days. Finally, she actually answered the phone when I called (not once did she attempt to reach me after my voicemails). She said she would look into it and call me back in two days. She still did not call back. No attempt was made by the hotel to contact me at any point. On day 10 since my first call trying to get this issue resolved, I called yet again. The manager took my call that day and told me after speaking with corporate our money would not be refunded. So since I am a loyal member, I asked if I could at least reschedule the stay because of our ill child, and again, I was told no. This is not something that is allowed. Due to this issue, I will discourage anyone I know to use any other hotel chain, especially if they are a member of Marriott. They will not work with you even if you are a loyal member with a legitimate reason for needing to reschedule a stay. This is such a disappointment. We will no longer be using Marriott and will choose another hotel chain to give our services to.
