Hotels Near apple tree square in Oklahoma City

My husband and I stayed here for one night on a cross country drive with our two pups. The hotel is beautiful and modern. It is converted from an old Ford Model T assembly plant so the whole hotel is open and spacious. We loved the artwork. The room is large, new, and very clean. My only complaint is that the room is very dark. Even with every lamp/light turned on, the room was still very dim. I can’t speak to any of the amenities as we arrive late and left early the next morning.

I had a great experience except for the parking garage situation. It was very confusing. I parked first and then paid extra to come in and out for the 2 days I was there. When I first tried to come out the 2 day ticket wouldn’t work, after explaining over & over again to the guards they finally let us out. They said that they have issues with people passing around those tickets but I showed my room number and all of my tickets. All in all it was just an unnecessary hassle, not sure if it’s a machine error or what but I know it caused issues for several other people as well. There is a sign that says to check in before parking but I got caught up in the downtown traffic from arriving late and was in a hurry to just park so part of it is my fault. I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the breakfast or pool amenities but I heard good things! Overall, I’m satisfied with my stay and would most certainly visit again!

Please keep in mind I have NEVER had to complain about any hotel stay ever this far in life. While in town for a concert, my brother and I stayed here for two nights. The afternoon following the first night, my brother noticed red raised itchy bumps all over the back of his legs. We assumed they could only be from the hotel, as we only left one time since checking in to get food. After looking up pictures of bed bug/ flea bites we confirmed that there was no other option of what they could have been. When checking out, we showed the receptionist the pictures of his legs as well as our disgusting molded/ brown duvet inserts. They reacted very quickly and asked for no additional information as they quickly said they would comp one of the nights. Which made us assume this might be a frequent problem due to their reaction. They later told us to send in the pictures and they would get back to us on comping the second night. We were then rushed to end the conversation and leave the hotel. When I called in today to check on the status of our refund, I was told that they sent someone out to test the room for bed bugs and it came back negative. We received no call with an update and were told that we would no longer be getting the second night comped after it was promised. This situation was handled extremely terrible by staff and my brother is still having major issues with his bites days later. We also had the maid service knock on our door three times, once at 8am, 9am, and 10am before checking out at 11am (1 HOUR BEFORE REQUIRED CHECK OUT TIME) Will never be returning to this Sheraton or staying at another one ever again. Nice place and close to Bricktown, making it convenient to find restaurants or walking around. The hotel is well-maintained, clean rooms and modern finishes that contribute to a nice atmosphere. I was impressed with the staff; they were friendly and accommodating, check-in was a smooth process and being readily available to assist with any inquiries. Definitely worth staying here again next time I'm in OKC

This is a pleasant, well-maintained property that delivers an experience consistent with what you would expect from Holiday Inn Express. Most importantly, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything was in working order. Common areas were well-kept and inviting. Front desk personnel were friendly. I inquired about a late checkout and was cheerfully offered a 2 PM checkout, which I appreciated (things like that are remembered). Parking (self-parking) is $15 per night, with in-and-out privileges. That seems reasonable for an urban hotel near the heart of a medium-sized city. The parking is in an outdoor lot behind the hotel, with access controlled by your room key activating a swing arm (a swing arm also guards the lot exit, but it lifts automatically; no key card is required to lift it). Hotel guests may keep their cars in the lot during the afternoon after checkout provided they do not leave the lot and attempt to re-enter the lot. The ”Bricktown” development (seemingly Oklahoma City's attempt to replicate the San Antonio River Walk) is a short 2-block walk from the hotel. A stroll along the canal is a nice experience. The complimentary breakfast was standard Holiday Inn Express fare, with staff doing a nice job keeping hot items restocked. Hot items included a pancake machine, freshly made oatmeal, sausage links, potatoes, and pre-fab cheese ”omelets”. The fitness center is fairly run-of-the-mill for mid-tier lodging, with two treadmills, an elliptical machine, a bike, a weight machine, some dumbbells, medicine balls, and a weight bench. I appreciate that the room had a microwave and dorm-sized refrigerator. A couple of small nits: (1) The fitness center had music coming through speakers in the ceiling, and it was loud. When standing on the elliptical machine, the speaker was within a short distance of my head. Hey hotel: it's 2024; people generally bring their own audio entertainment to their workouts. (2) While I appreciated the late (2 PM) checkout, I did find myself locked out of my room at 1 PM so had to go back down to the desk to get the key reauthorized. Overall, however, I would recommend this property and would stay again were my travels take me to downtown OK City.

New hotel that underwent an amazing reno. Booked the Junior Suite and what a wonderful room for a good price! Spacious, separate “living room” with gorgeous light fixtures, deep blue wall color with wonderful white baseboards and doors, beautiful window coverings and carpet. The bedroom is huge with wonderful bathroom that has a gorgeous large shower and vanity. Bronze fixtures everywhere which look so classy. Only problem was the “night light” under the vanity--flips on and off erratically. The Great Hall on the main floor is glorious. Soaring ceilings that look to be 30+ feet high, gorgeous art deco light fixtures and décor. Wonderful place for a drink to enjoy the surroundings. Parking is available in the attached garage which is the worst ever. Extremely narrow lanes that curve in ridiculous ways. Unfortunately that’s the only option to be near the hotel. We did not do valet parking (about $6 more), which is a must to avoid this horrendous garage.

Put my mom up in this hotel after a very long day and a cancelled flight (thank you Frontier airlines). The gentleman at the front desk was SO helpful and accommodating and really made her stay (I wish I had gotten his name)! 10/10 for customer service.

The price is OK, there is a simple kitchen inside, it is convenient for people who like to cook and blow, and all aspects of hygiene are satisfied. It may be too close to the highway. The sound insulation effect is a bit awkward. Generally speaking, it is OK.

Very convenient hotel, the hotel is located in a convenient neighborhood, next door is a large Mexican restaurant, opposite McDonald's, next to two gas stations. Close to high speed, three or four minutes drive from Kentucky fast food, and seven minutes from Chinese cafeteria. Very close to the shopping center, three minutes drive from Sam's Club. The hotel's breakfast is full, and the room has plenty of hot water and heating. We stayed several times because the hotel was very convenient for life and parking. The hotel staff is amiable and responsive. Also, the hotel is very cost-effective, less than $50/night, very affordable. Highly recommend to friends with cars to stay at this hotel!
