Oki View Port Hotel

When choosing a hotel for our trip to Oki Island, we thought about what to do in case of rain and that it was close to the port. This hotel is connected to the terminal by a private passageway, so it is convenient and seems to be often used by tours, but it was empty even though it was a Saturday. We wanted to eat dinner at a sushi restaurant or an izakaya, we were going to arrive at the hotel late, and my wife and I could only eat a small amount of breakfast, so we decided to stay overnight. There is no convenience store, but there is a drug store with a wide selection nearby. There are quite a few sushi restaurants and izakayas in the area, but they are also frequented by locals, so it is better to make a reservation. The bed in the twin room is a little small. There is a small round table and chair, but there is no desk like in a business hotel. The TV is also small. The bathroom and toilet room are normal size. There is a refrigerator. The closet is a type without a door. There is no safety box. There was an air purifier, but it is appreciated by smokers that the window opens. It seemed cold to sleep with the air conditioner on, so we slept with the window open. The room wear is a yukata type. There were several parking spaces on the side of the hotel facing Izumo Taisha Saigo Branch, so I parked there. If there were no other parking spaces, it would not have been possible to park many cars. Oki Drive Rental Car is also nearby, so it was convenient to return the car the next morning. I think the biggest advantage of this hotel is that it is directly connected to the port, so considering the cost performance, I didn't have to worry about anything else.
