During my stay, there was an unexpected earthquake, but I was so impressed by how the staff handled the situation. They kept everyone informed and checked in regularly to ensure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Their kindness and professionalism truly made a difference during a challenging time. And let me tell you about the incredible assistance I received when my car ran out of battery. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help me out, contacting the necessary services and ensuring everything was sorted out quickly and efficiently. The rice was ”Hinohikari” from local Oita, but it was as delicious as ”nanaboshi” in the hotel in Hokkaido (Kushiro / Shiretoko Shari).

Had an overnight stay here for the rugby after a day travelling down from Hokkaido. The trip went incredibly smoothly, then the welcome, the fans zone, the organisation and the fans transport out to the stadium were amazing. Well done Oita. The hotel was a little overwhelmed by the number of people booking in before the match, but staff were friendly and helpful; the room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped; and the hotel was easily found from the station via an interesting arcade - no more than a 5-10 minute walk.
